Magnificent looking old house that must have been overrun with grandeur in it's day. Given the potential acreage around it and it's isolation; it must have been the house of the area, maybe even a plantation home. Makes one wonder what happened??? Why didn't someone keep this up. Who owned it and why is in this state of neglect. Well off the beaten path and an absolutely 'stumble onto' find for me. Believe a couple of my contacts will be licking their chops to snoop and see this one! Maybe we should get permission and have a big flickr photo party here. Come in costume, we could have pre-civil war, civil war, ww1 ww2, roaring 20's costumes at every window waving, ok so my imagination over runs reality...but it is a new year and my glass of egg nog helps!!!
