the masterpiece memory of colors
The portraits were taken by Russian photographer Alexander Khimushin and offer a fascinating insight into the lives of people in Siberia - some of them in communities of only 100.
Photographer Alexander Khimushin spends a year traveling 25,000 miles across Siberia, seeking to meet and preserve the cultural richness of its indigenous people.

Elyzabeth Daynès is a highly acclaimed sculptor and paleontologist who creates incredibly realistic reconstructions of our ancestors using archaeological finds, clay and silicon. She calls herself a paleoartist, a mixture of hard science and pure art. Not only do these sculptures appear life-like, they are also educational: they help illustrate the process by which we evolved into who we are today.
