You know, at the end of the day, what we do around here boils down to something very simple. I've used the phrase for a long time. What we do isn't fancy. It's not curing cancer or keeping the world safe from terrorism. It's just pretty string. That said, it does make our lives richer. The things we create with sticks and string are tangible manifestations of love. We had a few of these T-Shirts made up for Sock Summit. Some buttons too. We realize that people who work with our yarn might want something a little different. What about this? If these were available at an LYS or online, would you buy one? Which do you like better?
Threading a needle just became so, so much less annoying.
someday, soon… your headBrace will be off; your neck will be unbroken; you will be healed; and your right arm will be unbothered. and then we can SLeep together Again. ~ i miss you, too! (i Love...
Needle Minder *please see pictures for size 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A great gift for all cross stitchers, embroiderers and sewing enthusiasts! Do you find needles pinned to your shirt, trousers, arm of your chair? Or playing the floor is lava when a needle has been dropped. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 What is a needle minder? 🌟 A needle minder is a magnetic accessory that will securely hold your needle in place to prevent you from dropping or losing it. 🌟A needle minder is a great (super cute & fun) item for keeping your needle safe while you are stitching. You wont be loosing any needles soon! 🌟 This comes in two parts, a front with a magnet attached to the back, which sits on top of your work and then the second magnet has a button attached to it and this goes on the reverse of your work anchoring the needle minder in place. 🌟 Then just pop your needle on the needle minder when you are not using it. Also really handy to keep your paper pattern in place. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ How to use and care for me: Please do not pull on the button on the back magnet, instead slide the magnets off each other gently. The button on the back magnet is not a grip to pull the magnets apart, it is for aesthetic purposes and to ensure you don’t lose the back magnet. Please try not to let the magnets snap or bang together as this could chip and break them. The magnets are neodymium and are brittle by nature. Please take care of me ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 All products listed are made by me to order there may be small variations between the picture shown and the one you receive. Monitor screens can sometimes distort the colors. I try my best to take pictures as accurate as possible. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION Neodymium magnets are hard and brittle, do not allow them to snap together or onto metal surfaces with force as they may shatter. Avoid use if you have medical devices fitted such as pacemakers etc.. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 Thank you so much for visiting my shop. You will need patience to master this needle tatting technique. Unlike shuttle tatting and traditional needle tatting, the tool does not hold a supply of thread with which to work. Instead, Japanese needle tatting functions more like crochet in that it draws continually from the ball of thread. - Japanese Needle Tatting - Tatting at BellaOnline

Bohin Chenille Needles: 5 ct. Chenille needles are perfect to use with specialty threads like silk and wool. Their long eye allows thread to pass through easily, and can prevent some specialty threads from shredding. I especially like to use them with Soie Perlee and other size 8 perle threads. The tip is nice and sharp, which is perfect for piercing tightly woven fabric. They can be used for most hand embroidery and crewel work, especially those that require a sharp needle and a large, long eye. Package includes 5, size 24 needles

Does today’s post title sound like a hot mess? Yeah, that’s my brain lately. Jumping from one thing to another….and can’t focus on one thing longer than 2 seconds! Ha! ;) But, I can’t help it. Look what came out of "Time Out!" Fractured Flower Quilt Top In Progress Do you ever put projects in "Time Out?" My Fractured Flower quilt was just making me angry, so it spent the past four months in a "Time Out" bag. I gave myself permission to work on other things while I waited for the anger to dissipate. I finally took it out of "Time Out" this week. (And no, I don't put my children in "time out" for this long. I promise.) I've spent a few hours working on it. It's easier to do when I'm not mad at it. Imagine that! I did come upon a little snafu. Fractured Flowers Quilt Oops, I cut one square piece the wrong direction. The top piece shows how it is SUPPOSED to look. You can see by the bottom piece that it just won't work with the direction I cut the square. Luckily, it is only 2 pieces I have to resew and I have enough leftover fabric to do this. Phew! I'm so glad I bought out the quilt store of that grey fabric. Can you imagine the agony I'd be in if I hadn't? Have you ever put projects in "Time Out" as well? Linked up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced here. Linked up to Show Off Saturday here. Linked up to Stitch by Stitch here. *Update: Several people have asked about the pattern. I wish I could claim it as my own, but sadly I can't. Currently, the pattern info can be found on my WIP page as with all my projects. The pattern can be found at Happy Stash Quilts here. **Update 8/1/15--See completed quilt top here.
