Yes, we can still have nacho's!!! This version I make is hearty and will fill your belly for sure! Ingredients: Cooked Chicken Diced (I sprinkle mine with onion powder and grill in Olive Oil) Tortilla Chips Black Beans, rinsed well (Omit if you can't handle these or are unsure and are being safe) Green Onion, diced Red Bell Pepper, diced Mozzarella Cheese Sprinkle Cumin (I think this is on the maybe list. I can handle it in small amounts on a good bladder day) Directions: Spread Tortilla Chips on oven pan (put down foil first for easier clean up). Layer each chip with all ingredients above (I'm very generous with the cheese) and sprinkle very lightly with Cumin. Make as many layers as you wish. Bake at 400 about 10 minutes until cheese is melted and starts to golden.

Hello everyone!! It has been so long since I've added a new recipe. I've received a lot of wonderful comments from you guys lately and I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know my posts continue to help other IC Sisters and Brothers!!!! So I decided to try something new... a yummy fall soup despite our weather still acting Summer-y here in Oklahoma. I've never had corn chowder in my life, but I love corn so I gave it a shot. Big hit in my family tonight! In fact, I can't wait to eat leftovers tomorrow!! I found this on a FB Page called Spend With Pennies. Ingredients: 2 large carrots, chopped 1 large onion, chopped 4 potatoes, chopped (I used frozen... I don't have time for peeling potatoes, ha!) 2 14-16oz cans of creamed corn 2 13-16oz cans of corn, drained 3 Cups chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder salt and pepper to taste 1 12 oz can of evaporated milk 2 Tbsp cornstarch 3 Tbsp butter (option, I used 1 Tbsp) *Recipe calls for 1lb bacon, cooked and crumbled.... I used a small shredded hamsteak instead. You could leave out entirely. Directions: Place everything except the evaporated milk, cornstarch and butter in the slow cooker. Add just enough chicken broth to cover the ingredients. Cook on high 5 hours or low for 7-8 hours until vegetables are softened. Combine cornstarch and evaporated milk. Stir into slow cooker along with butter 30 minutes before serving.
Excited, excited, excited!!! I am very excited about this recipe!! It is delicious... It is easy... It involves very few ingredients that I usually have on hand... and it is different than anything I've had before, in a good way!! Can we say new staple?? Love new staples!!!! Now this doesn't have to be made with white rice... but I would highly suggest doing so and pouring the pan drippings over the rice... OMG Good!! Found on pinterest via Food.com Ingredients: 2 boneless chicken breasts 6 cloves minced garlic 6 Tbsp brown sugar 3 tsp olive oil 1 cup white rice Directions: Preheat oven to 350. In a saute pan, saute garlic in olive oil until soft. Remove from heat, stir in brown sugar. Place chicken in baking dish and cover with garlic/sugar mixture. Bake 30 minutes. Meanwhile, make rice per instructions on package. When chicken is done, there will be about 1/2 cup of juice in pan. Reserve juice and pour over chicken & rice. You won't be disappointed!! Serves 2

IC 1805, an emission nebula approximately 7,500 light years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia, is named the Heart Nebula due to its heart shaped appearance. The open star cluster Melotte 15 lies in the middle of the heart. The nebula is part of a large star forming complex in the Perseus arm of the Milky Way galaxy. The bright knot at the lower right (which some might liken to a male body part) is separately classified as NGC 896, and was the first part of IC 1805 to be discovered. Comprising mostly glowing hydrogen, this nebula would appear red if imaged in LRGB. We have imaged it using narrowband filters, mapping Sulfur 2, Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen 3 to R, G and B respectively to reveal great detail in the Hubble palette. 76 individual exposures totalling more than 25 hours were shot from the dark skies of West Virginia. Image processed using PixInsight and Photoshop. Data collected in West Virginia using our jointly owned Astrophysics AP 305 f/3.8 scope, in collaboration with: John Kasianowicz, Mike Selby, Stefan Schmidt and Andy Chatman Image processing: Andy Chatman
