Hello all! I am so happy to be popping in today to share a cutie patootie project that I created for this month's Birthday Project Challenge! I ALWAYS need birthday cards, so this challenge holds a sweet place in my heart because it forces me to add to my stash. This month's challenge was to use circles in unusual and unexpected ways to create a birthday card. My immediate thought was to make some cute posies with several sizes of stitched circle dies from the Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics, solid card stock and coordinating polka dot papers. And here's what I came up with! I actually really love the way these sweet flowers turned out. The stems and leaves were created using the Stitched Flowers Die-Namics, the sentiment is from the Garden Fairies Stamp Set, and the sentiment strip was made using the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-Namics. I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below. Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other birthday projects that my fellow teammates have created for your inspiration! And while you're there, why not link up your own birthday card using circles in some way, for your chance to win a $50 Shopping Spree to the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, so everyone that plays has a chance to win! That's it for me today, kids! I'll be back next week with another project and process video! Until then, please stay safe and well. And thanks for spending some of your time with me here . . . it means the world to me that you do! MFT PRODUCTS USED:

Tonight I stamped with a new Cornish Heritage Farms Scrapblock, all excited about making a card with my new Aged Sheet Music backgrounder! Then I started looking in my stash for an image to use with it. Hmmm. No cool music stamps, and no music quotations even. :-( Finally I had a brainstorm--I could use a stamp that said "Just a Note." I grabbed a box of stamps that had arrived last week and found my solution--the Just Rite, Just A Note 2x Stamper. It's pre-inked in black, which worked perfectly with my sheet music background. I stamped a couple of these images to cut out with some of my Spellbinders label dies. Next I used some Vintage Photo Distress Ink to sponge the edges of both the music and the tags. (I usually use a more subtle Antique Linen Distress Ink, but since the sheet music had more visual...

As I got out all of our Christmas decorations this year, I found a stack of Christmas cards that for some reason my pack rat self has saved for the last 10 years. Since I’ve saved them this long, I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. Instead we got creative and put them to use in other ways.
