¡Hola projectlifers!
- ¿me suscribo a algún kit mensual?
Happy Tuesday! It's been super drab and rainy around here lately, but today I finally got a chance to photograph my PL spread for last week...I can't believe Week 4 is over already! On the left side of my spread I used a lot of smaller photos for a change. I didn't have a bunch of great photos because two out of my three kids were sick all week and then I got (another) sinus infection so I wasn't on top of it like I should've been, lol. On the left side I chose to print some of my pics in black and white to shake things up a bit and I really like how it turned out with the overall look of the spread. And here's the full spread for Week 4... I used my Project Life Seafoam Core Kit (the digital version) from AC Digitals and bits and pieces of recent SC kits for this week's spread. I added a few badge buttons and placed them strategically so they won't take up too much extra space in my completed album. I hope I can squeeze the whole year into just two albums, but we shall see :) Despite the kiddos being sick, we had a lot of things going on last week...I'm anxious to document the prep work and construction of our new shed we are building through my Project Life album. It will be really cool to see how it all comes along over the next several months through my photos and journaling. Well, Week 4 is in the books! I'm loving this PL thing so much right now...I know I will be so glad that I decided to tackle this! Have a great day! TFL!

Hello folks! This month’s POCKET THIS is all about spreading items “Across the Pockets“. Many of us think just because pocket scrapbooking is divided into pockets, that we are limited to using only a single pocket for each topic or item. This simply isn’t true. Using more than a single pocket for a photo, card …

Happy Friday all! I'm thrilled to be sharing my Week 20 pages today using the June Pocket Life and PL Embellishment kits. The colors are so fresh and fun this month. I'm still crazy in love with circles as a design element, and punched out five for just my date card alone, making use of several favorite patterns from the South of Market 6x6. Another element I carried through this spread? The fun little tabs from the Teresa Collins stickers sheet. Our impromptu trip to a local farm this week was a complete coincidence but, the paper pad sure helped to document the experience. I use a circle from the cow print in my date card and the "local fresh" piece to accent my journaling about the visit. This week came with a lot of photo ops and it was tough to narrow down. Instead of using several slots for journaling, I loaded up on the photos and made this embellished filler card. I punched a notch in the top and slipped my extra writing behind. Super simple! ("Us 5" stickers from the May PL kit) About those extra pics? This was one I really wanted to include but, wasn't sure how it would fit. A little trimming made it the perfect size to add to the top of one of the exclusive PL cards this month. The original saying was "Play All Day." Here are your Pocket Life sketches for the week:
Allez hop! J'y retourne ! Bonne soirée et bonnes vacances!
I am so excited to share Week 7 of my Project Life. I am completely in love with this spread, but it's no surprise really, since I mostly us...
I recently joined the Project Life craze - August of 2013 to be exact. I wasn't sure if it was going to be my thing but, to my surprise, I have enjoyed it immensely! Since August, my PL supplies have grown and practically fill my one of my Ikea carts ... Since I took this pic I have even more supplies! I have decided that the mini core kits are for me. I use the cards for a few weeks and then move on to another style. I have purchased only one full core kit and have tons left. I have split another full core kit with a friend and still have tons left. With all the awesome kits available I'd rather have a smaller quantity with less leftover. I think a PL swap would be a great idea! I started PL in August 2013 so this year I'm excited to start on day one!! I am still trying to discover "my style" and I definitely have my go to items: doilies, date stamps, my AWESOME vintage typewriter, washi tape, sequins, paperclips, ribbon and tons of alpha cardstock stickers from my stash. I'm still working on the photography end. I have a Canon Selphy but the photos do not print in true 4x6 or 3x4 - they are smaller. The Selphy is a quick and easy way to print from your iphone and the quality of the film is great! For my title page I started with a photo pocket page I haven't used before. It is Design J. Here's my title page for 2014 ... This is a simple page but it allows the photos to have the spotlight. Here's close-ups of the cards and photos ... Week 1 is on the back of this page. Last year I didn't start with a title page - still working on that! The date stamp, (I have an obsession with date stamps), is Amy Tangerine's Calendar Stamp. Week 2 is done and I will share as soon as I can photograph it - such a challenge in this New England climate. (I shoot outdoors so I'm limited). Thanks for letting me share with you and it's exciting to start this PL journey another year right from the beginning!! See you soon.
Hi everyone, Diane here! It's time for Pocket Life Friday. The September Pocket Life "Lombard" kit is so cute! I just adore the gorgeous puffy stickers, tiny words and wood veneer in this kit! I added little bits of stitching and and I had to restrain myself from going overboard stamping but who could blame me with stamps like these! And here are a few close-ups.. And now for your Pocket Life sketches... I can't wait to see what you do with them! Thanks for visiting Pocket Life Friday, where every week we share PL sketches and a chance to win. For your chance to win, create a layout based on the sketches in this blog post, post your layout to our Gallery or our Facebook Fan Page by Friday, September 25th. Be sure to include PL 9/18 in the title!
