Hello! With this product I am starting a series of goods on the theme of tourist maps of different countries. Traveling is difficult right now, but I believe that sooner or later everything will work out and we will be able to enjoy the trips again. So today is sunny Portugal. This product is suitable for the manufacture of souvenirs: stickers, posters, postcards, magnets, t-shirts, bags and so on. You can also use the elements of the set for advertising tourist tours, excursions, booklets, flyers and brochures. Great solution for travel agencies. You will get: 3 options for a map of Portugal - 1 outline and 2 color (EPS10, JPG 8333x8333 px 300 DPI, PNG with transparent background ); 3 seamless patterns (EPS10, JPG 8333x8333 px 300 DPI); 2 round compositions (color and outline versions): EPS10, JPG 8333x8333 px 300 DPI, PNG with transparent background; Note - Text is not editable. Phrases were written by hand and translated into vector format. It's not a font. You can change only the color and size. The preview images were created solely for demonstration and are not included in the download. If you will have any further questions, please, write me on [email protected] or contact me via CM Messages

Hand drawn city map of Raalte (called after some Dutch town). The city is situated on two rivers, on of them being an affluent, ending in the other. It's drawn as a city as it could have grown in multiple centuries: city center, former bastions, station close to the river side, apparment buildings from the 70s and newer neighbourhoods surrounding the city. In a word: a very European city. Why it is called Raalte? Well, I just like place names ending on -e and after having made up twenty of them, I started to run out of own names, so started using real place names. 2011.
I love maps and I don’t mean the boring Google map or those you seen in geography textbook. Artistic, unusual, colourful maps are what I am going to showcase in this post.

Each step is done on a new layer in photoshop, and I use a 5px hard round brush in each case with size set to pressure. However, all of these steps can be done in Gimp – or … Continue reading "How to Draw Coastlines on a Fantasy Map"
