Besides here, I publish different stuff in Instagram and Facebook, so you may want to follow me there too: Instagram: www.instagram.com/tefocoto/ And Facebook: www.facebook.com/PerfectPixel.es/ PLEASE • Do not post animated gifs or pictures in your comments. Especially the "awards". These will simply be deleted and the poster blocked. Unless it's an interesting other picture, for comparison or reference. • No invitations to groups where one must comment and/or invite and/or give award and no group icon without any comment. These will simply be deleted and the poster blocked. Nothing personal here, I simply don't see the usefulness of such actions. On the other hand I encourage you to critic my work as I believe that is the best way to improve my photography. Thank you! Gracias!
Growing roses by themselves would be an open invitation to the pests and diseases that favor roses. Roses are healthier when we provide them with companion plants which help repel destructive bugs and pests while encouraging beneficial insects. Here, the lovely English rose 'Lady of Shalott' is interplanted with Nepeta (catmint) and Achillea (Yarrow). Easy to grow, these perennials make the apricot chalice-shaped roses appear more vibrant than they would on their own, cover their exposed knees without covering their romantic rose blooms, attract a huge number of insects, are good at keeping rabbits away and flower just as the roses begin to bloom - providing an attractive early and long-lasting display.
We find ourselves in a state of awe quite a bit here at SMP. Quite a bit. And that is precisely the state I found myself in when I first laid eyes on this sunlit set of nuptials. It's captured by Aa...

I invite you to click on play with me and enjoy my current favorite classical piece by Johann Sebastian Bach ~ The sheep may safely graze. This piano may have had its better days, but in my heart and in my soul, its still playing the most wonderful music... Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky... Perhaps serenaded a ballerina while she practiced her pirouette I can see it all... in my imagination!! And now, its going to sit in my studio to fuel my inspiration and bring my creativity to life while I listen to Bach... Behind that glass door.... in my studio... where dreams come alive!! I have been working tirelessly on my studio, painting, spackling, fixing, more painting...glazed windows, built a mantel... list goes on!! Well, I finally got my first piece in there. Something I never thought I would ever have. But you never know what opportunities you may come across every ones in a while... Friday of last week I was making my rounds at thrift stores and on the curb of the last shop, was the white piano. I wanted it and the shop owner even asked me to take it...for free. IF {That is the key here} I could find anyone to haul it for me. Yes, it may not be a big piano but it is still very heavy. But my heart was set on it. It took me a week to round up a couple of guys to haul it home to me. Well, it made it home last night, and I am in the clouds!! I think a piano is one of the grandest things to own... And now I have one!! sigh** I love my white, tattered and worn piano with its spindle front legs!! Keys are all there, still play. Very out of tune and some keys get stuck... but in my heart it still plays!! I cannot wait till I am moved into my studio so I can enjoy it and hear that music playing!! Con tanto amore... da Sonia

Parce qu'il y a des détails qui ne trompent pas... Une touche de couleur, un accessoire, une matière, bref une broutille qui rend notre tenue beaucoup moins commune.

With the nights in Paris getting longer, the trees looking more naked and the cobblestones glistening with rainwater, I can't help but be reminded of Brassai's Paris de Nuit. The Transylvania-born photographer came to city of light in the 1920s to capture its notorious creatures of the night and wha
