Cinque Terre - "the five lands" in free translation, is an area in Liguria region in north-west coast of Italy. there are five villages all along the shore and you can travel between them by foot or by train. we stayed at the southest (is that even a word..?) village which is called Riomaggiore and we walked along a trail called Via Dell'Amore ("the way of love") for about half an hour until we got to the next village - Manarola, which is what you see in this photo. the next day we took a train to the northest village Monterosso and we walked for about 2 hours and a half until we got to the next village of Vernazza - this walk was a bit difficult, lots of up-hills and it was cold that day but it was totally worth it..! my Travel Blog
