Welcome to the Unidol competition, where student dancers with student PR managers compete in the student-run event. Teams from around Japan mimic dance routines from their favorite pop idols to absolute perfection, but joining a club is quite a commitment. The young women in SPH Mellmuse from Tokyo's Sophia University practice four to six times per week and even have to sew their costumes by hand — all while being enrolled in school full time.
