Née en 1950 dans le sud de la France, la sculptrice Josepha débute sa carrière en tant que styliste de mode. Outre le succès international qu’elle connaît, sa soif créatrice l’incite à se confronter à d’autres matières. C’est ainsi qu’au début des années 1990, Josepha choisit de se consacrer pleinement à la sculpture. Ses premiers pas sont guidés par l’homme qui partage sa vie, professeur d’arts plastiques et sculpteur lui-même. Josepha s’essaie à la terre, à la pierre et au bronze, pour enfin donner libre cours à sa fantaisie de coloriste à travers la résine. De ses sculptures, Josepha fait naître des femmes aux formes voluptueuses, aux attitudes sensuelles, empreintes de gravité ou de rêverie. Avec ses modèles en résine, Josepha donne vie à des Vénus coquines aux couleurs pétillantes.
