Thanks for being with me during my YouTube presentation last night. I showcased three live projects using the Magnolia Mood Bundle. In case you couldn't catch it live, feel free to check out the replay below. The initial card features a distinctive die-cut window adorned with a stunning die-cut and watercolored magnolia, perfect for a birthday celebration. Utilizing the same bundle, the second card introduces an extra element to the background. I created a stamped background by directly coloring the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers. Following that, I embossed it with the Basics Embossing Folder for added texture. Every week,
Transformed with the Magnolia Mood bundle, this Makeover Monday card showcases a harmonious blend of petal pink and soft sea foam colors. The addition of carefully stamped images and a subtle touch of ink to the background creates a truly enchanting and elegant design, capturing the essence of beauty and tranquility. To produce the lone stamped image inside the card, color the stamp directly with Stampin' Write markers before pressing it onto the card stock. This method works wonderfully when the image demands two or more colors.2024 Cruise Kit PDF now available in my PDF Store here!!

I love words—cards—that encourage and support. Who doesn’t need a little of that now & again? This one was ridiculous fun to make! I die cut the larger hand from the Hands Die Set through a quarter sheet of kraft card stock, then placed it onto a cutting mat and used a craft knife to cut
One of my team members shared a card like this in our Flowerbug's group and claimed it was so easy she's making lots of these cards. I loved it so much I had to find out how she made it! I learned how by watching the creators video; her name is Julie Heitz and she goes by the Chirpy Cardmaker. I shared how to make it during last week's Live video. The products used include the pretty Softly Stippled designer...

Jennifer Gwyneth Lara Kate One of my favorite nights of the year! Ok, I admit it I love to watch the Oscars. Who doesn't? I love to see all the beautiful gowns, imagining all the work that must go into one single dress. Seed beads, crystals, pearls, and lace means a lot of hand stitching. I definitely had favorites this year and each one was so different from each other. I think my favorites were the 2 with the turquoise colored necklaces...Kate Blanchett and Lara Spencer's dresses were of the simplest of lines, fitting beautifully and topped off with bold bib necklaces. I liked Gwyneth's dress a lot even though it was criticized greatly in the press. Perhaps it's because I work with a company that produces flower embellishments and I knew I just had to recreate that dress on a paper doll. Who couldn't appreciate THE dress of the night? Jennifer Lopez was exquisite in that dress no matter what the opinion was of the neckline. I couldn't wait to use my new Marisol stamp from Prima Marketing to show you the versatility of this stamp. For all of you that like to alter the clothes, this ones for you! I used my watercolor pencils for Jennifer's dress in a nude, peachy shade and piled on tiny sequins for the beads. I used scrapbook paper for the others, hoping to capture the colors the best I could. Kate's necklace was fun to make, just layering different shades and sizes of rhinestones. I even altered the hair since ponytails seemed to be the style of the night. This stamp was made for all the DYI stampers out there. I hope you have as much fun with her as I do.
