A very nice man contacted me via my web site and asked if I could make him an automata. He is a keen sailor and fisherman and wanted a piece based on this subject.As I am a keen sailor and fisherman, I was only too happy to accept his commission.

This automata was commissioned by Sheffield Manor Lodge visitor centre to be used as a collection box. It shows the final moments of Mary Queen of Scots. Apparently it took three blows of the executioners axe to remove her head and after she was sent to meet her maker a small dog appeared
