The Abbey sandstone tiles display soft putty tones, with a time worn finish that creates a smooth textured surface complimented with aged worn edges. This natural stone offers white through to ivory and beige hues, with a soft flowing movement and intricate details, with occasional copper flecks. These beautiful tiles are a dense and hardwearing option, perfect for internal and external applications. Please note, these tiles are uncalibrated and a slight variation of thickness between tiles is to be expected. Tiles should be graded prior to installation to achieve the best finish. Jag gillar verkligen köket på Villa Strömsfors. När jag var där för lite drygt ett år sedan berättades det om köksplanerna och när jag var där nu i veckan så fick jag se köket, och det var så fint. Ja
Bejmat Tiles are handcrafted natural clay tile, glazed in a wide range of vibrant colours. Bejmat Tile production is labour-intensive. Each one is hand-chiselled, dried and kiln fired before an enamel glaze is applied by hand. This process means that each Bejmat tile has a unique, irregular finish and no two are the same which will add attractiveness and unique style to any interior design. Handmade Available Size(s): 14cm x 4.5cm x 2cm Suitable for: Indoor, Outdoor, Floors, Walls Delivery: 10-12 weeks Order Information: Minimum 1 square meter, approx. 160 tiles Due to the raw materials and timeless methods of making Bejmat tiles, you will receive tiles that are pitted through the glaze and about 20% of which will contain cracks, crazing and edge-chipping. These tiles are perfectly fine to be installed and will give the traditional Bejmat finish. If you don’t wish to have these imperfections, we recommend ordering 20%-30% more tiles. Each kiln firing process creates a meaningful degree of colour variation in this product. Please GET A QUOTE, if you are ordering outside the UK or more than 30m2

“God,” German architect Mies van der Rohe once famously said, “is in the details.” It’s hard to imagine more beautiful details than these six boundaries where two flooring surfaces meet, marrying different materials in innovative and elegant ways. If you decide to imitate these transitions in your own home, don’t be surprised if everyone spends all their time looking down.
Porcelain pattern floor tile Sardinia Masseria pattern porcelain tile 20x20cm. A glazed porcelain tile with a satin finish. Sardinia Masseria pattern is suitable for internal walls and floors. These tiles can bring a Victorian look into your home by laying them in hallways, kitchens, conservatories and bathrooms. The Sardinia range is a collection of the most eclectic designs and they make for a stunning feature floor as well as splashbacks, alcoves and feature walls. Sardinia is available in a variety of other patterns including Giola, Dragonetti and Tarricone. Sold by the box of 16 tiles = 0.64 square metre per box. Tiles classified as an anti-slip floor tile are assigned an ‘R’ value which runs along a scale from R9 (not tested but manufactured to a minimum standard) all the way through to R13 (the highest slip resistance). As the Sardinia range has an R10 slip rating, it is regarded as safe for fitting in all areas, including bathrooms and kitchens. Frost-proof tiles like the Sardinia range are an important consideration for rooms where the temperature may drop below zero such as utility rooms and conservatories. Tiles with a frost-proof glaze have a water absorption rate of less than 0.5% meaning they are ideal for such conditions. Tiles which are not frost-proof may absorb water which would freeze at zero and below, causing the tile to crack. Please note that while we take every effort to accurately display each tile, variations in screen resolution, lighting and different production batches may affect your viewing. We recommend requesting a FREE tile sample to help you purchase the right tile for your home or business.

Zellige tiles or zellij is an ancestral north African art. The tradition has been treasured from one generation to another and today only very skilled craftsmen can achieve these complex geometric mosaics works. Ideal for wall and floor coverings, but also for fireplaces, fountains or even swimming pools, Moroccan tile has inspired many architects and designers to create custom original works.Zellige has been made in Morocco for over a 1000 years. Finding the highest quality clay is extremely important to produce the finest Zellige tile. The region of Fez has one of the best quality clays in Morocco. The clay is soaked in water until it reaches a soft texture. Once the clay is soft enough to handle it is filtered by hand. After filtering, a skilled craftsmen flattens the clay by hand into squares. This part is very important because the clay must be compact with no air bubbles in it.Raw Zellige clay tiles are then allowed to dry outdoors, like adobe. Most tile production takes place in the summer, early fall and spring. After the clay is shaped, molded and flattened, it is kept and stored in a cool dry place to be readied for a first bake. After the uncured Zellige tiles are dried another skilled craftsmen applies the colors to the top of the tile. Be aware that today in Morocco many tile factories use paint guns to apply colors. Using spray guns provides the same looking tiles and many more colors are available with a lower cost. The reason we don't buy spray painted tiles it is to ensure that the paint coating is thick and resistant. The Zellige tiles are now placed in natural, wood fired kilns. In traditional moroccan Zellige kilns heat circulates unevenly, resulting in slightly different tones and colors for each tile. This imperfection makes Moroccan tiles so unique and beautiful. The end product is a 4"x4" tile with uneven edges.Note: All our tiles are 100% hand made. Our factory uses the same techniques as our ancestors to ensure quality and authenticity.Zellige making is considered an art in and of itself. This art is transmitted from generation to generation by master craftsmen. There are three craftsmen needed for Zellige. The first selects the tiles and then draws the shape desired and passes the tile to the next craftsmen. The most important part of this entire process is the third craftsmen, also called the master craftsmen. He specializes in cutting the excess clay and performs precision cutting. The end results are an incredible variety of shaped pieces that are assembled to create intricate Zellige patterns. The possibilities are unlimited!
