These socks are knit top-down in the rnd with fingering weight sock yarn. The multi-color stripes are ideal for using leftover colors from your sock and shawl projects. Begin with 2x2 ribbing and continue striping your colors together with slipped stitches as you work with one color at a time. This project is a beginnerfriendly colorwork pattern that you can easily customize by knitting more stripes for a longer leg and foot or knit fewer stripes for a shorter size. Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) Size 4 shown on a US 13 / EU 47 size foot with an actual foot circumference of 10″ / 25cm. Finished Measurements 5 (6, 7, 9, 10)″ / 13 (15, 18, 23, 25)cm ankle and foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 6 (7, 8, 10, 11)″ / 15 (20, 23, 28, 30)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1″ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot. The socks can stretch a bit more, so if you knit a size that is 2″ / 5cm smaller than your actual foot size, then the sock should still fit well with a tighter fit. The lengths of the cuff, ankle, and foot are easily customizable by knitting more column stripes for a longer ankle and foot or fewer column stripes for a shorter ankle and foot. Yarn Fingering weight Yardage Approximately 360 (400, 440, 480, 540)yds / 329 (366, 402, 439, 494)m total Shown in A variety of fingering weight sock yarns including Qing Fibre High Twist BFL, Undercover Otter Squirm Sock, La Bien Aimée Super Sock, & Mominoki Sock Fine 4ply. This is a printed pattern in Swedish. The pattern is only sent if you buy at least 2 balls of yarn at the same time. We reserve the right to cancel orders that do not comply with this. Baggy cap is a simple cap with a slightly baggy fit at the back of the head and with a rolled brim at the bottom. The hat is knitted in the round on a circular needle from the bottom up and finished at the top with decreases knitted with double pointed needles. The hat stretches during use (if the suggested or similar yarn is used) to a knitting strength of the equivalent of 17-18 m per 10 cm - this is calculated for that in the pattern in relation to the fit. You can vary the length of the hat to get the style you want. The top with decreases measures 5-6 cm. Measure your head circumference to find the right size for you. As a starting point, the smaller size is calculated for children, while the larger sizes fit adults. Knit a test patch to make sure you achieve the correct knit strength before you start. Sizes: Fits a head circumference of 50 – 54 (55 – 58) 58 – 62 cm Measure: Width: 19 (21) 23 cm, length: 25 (28) 31 cm Stick strength: 19 stitches x 28 rounds in stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm Knitting suggestions: Circular needle 4.5 mm (40 cm), double pointed needles 4.5 mm Material: 50 (50) 50 g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) together with 25 (25) 25 g Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) Difficulty : ★ ★ (2 out of 5).
