How yummy is this color palette?! Bright, tropical hues are a bold choice for branding, but they certainly make me happy. And thirsty— or is it hungry? —for a smoothie.
Rust comes from the oxidation of iron. Its really a beautiful color and brings warmth into a space. The word’s etymological origins comes from the Germanic word rusta which mean ‘redn…

Has anyone been to the Yardhouse in London to see this amazing wall in person? BTW / This color palette was really tough because I had so many colors to choose from... what colors stand out to you?

Axel Oswith has a collection of stunning—and, sometimes, a teensy bit disturbing—photographs that explore color, texture, and shape, including this inspiring image! It celebrates so many things that I love :: paper, deep green, and pale pink. Wouldn’t this make a fantastic color palette for a moder
The combination of dark blue range of shades (from blue-black to very pale blue) and golden-beige colour makes a harmonious palette that can be used to design a study or living room. You can separate zone (working, resting, reading) using only light and dark furniture without using a special design for walls and ceiling. This approach will help to create mobile spaces, which can be moved, expanded and narrowed depending on the needs.
I will be the first to support a girl who loves blue and a boy who loves pink, but when I see this color palette (inspired by Paul Fuentes’ lovely work ) it immediately reminds me of a boy’s nursery. Is that terrible? My daughter Em has 2 sippy cups she uses for milk: one pink, one blue. In order
Mhmmm???!!!

I’ve been staring at this photo of pastel papers for weeks now, and I finally decided it was time to make a color palette with it! Let me tell you, though, it took some serious effort (read: about 10 minutes ) to find the actual source. The image I originally pinned sourced a Tumblr feed…that sourc
Isn't Vincentiu's photo mesmerizing ? Makes me wish we could afford a house with a view (that isn't in the middle of nowhere)...or go camping. Download the hi-res version for free on StockSnap.io here!
Speaking of "keeping it together" (if you saw the last post), I feel so on top of things when I prep a color palette BEFORE Friday. ("But where was last week's palette?" you ask? Shhhhh.) I've always loved the blue-green hues of eucalyptus. Quiet, calming, and never boring!
Welcome to PART I of our farm-inspired mini series! These American persimmons are gorgeous, aren't they? I love the splotch of reddish-orange peeking through the blended purples and greens.
This week’s color inspiration is extra special because these stunning paper flowers are now sitting on my desk! Kate Alarcon of The Cobra Lily is a paper artist and teacher who creates these beauties

Happy New Year! Have you set any goals for 2016 yet? While you think about that, I'll share this week's winter color inspiration: pastel greens with hints of gray mixed with dusty rose. Perfect for a January wedding, right?
Nothing brightens my day like a pitcher full of peonies! Besides maybe a playpen of puppies.
When we lived in San Diego, I had a really amazing collection of succulents. I don't know how my two brown thumbs didn't kill them. Well, I do know. I didn't touch them. I watered them only a couple times a month and occasionally trimmed and tidied. The sun, sand, and infrequent rainfall did the r
Sorry for the extra-long intermission between my last color palette and this one! Busy season is in full swing around here and I’m up to my eyeballs in work. Speaking of work…or, err, not doing work…is anyone else ready for a vacation? I certainly wouldn’t mind gazing at the Mediterranean from my

What I love most about photos from space is that they always remind you of something on a smaller scale. Rivers look like veins...cities look like microchips...and islands look like slabs of marble or slices of agate. These rich blues mixed with bright aqua and yellow gold are just amazing!
Ok, I know this palette is better suited for fall than February, but I was really inspired by this combination of terra cotta, spruce, gray (with a hint of green), and mustard yellow. The photo, taken in 2016 by Elissa Robinson , was part of a gorgeous holiday shoot she did for two wonderful shops:
