A cheese platter with grapes is a perfect starter for any event. Considering my great love for all things cheese, my opinion may be a little biased. I've been trying to make purple grapes for a while but when the dark red plunger piece was released I decided to try that instead. It works much better as the plunger has an anti-stud, making for an easier connection t to the stems. www.BruceLowell.com Follow Bruce on: Flickr | Instagram | Facebook | Twitter | Google+

I loves me some cheese! (Even in the form of ABS pellets.) Thanks to Repoort for the chrome cheese grater, from Chrome Bricks I believe.
Scale LEGO model of a Kitchenaid Tilt-Head Stand Mixer. My wife got one for Christmas so I built my own. The bowl is from a Duplo Egg (actually an afterthought, but it's scaled perfectly for this).

This is the third of a few MOCs expanding upon the idea of the Lowell Sphere. See also: Wienermobile and Cactus This MOC uses four 90° curves incorporated into a torus shape, which naturally comes through best as a confectionary doughnut (the kind you eat).
Builder nobu_tary has made me want to eat some LEGO. I might choke during this post, but it will be worth it because this looks amazing and delicious, and is one heck of a build: Look at the tasty details: the toppings are placed perfectly, just random enough to resemble the real mess of a pizza; […]

Gonkius has created one of the most gorgeous LEGO rockets I’ve ever seen. Those seamless curves…I can’t get over them. They are everywhere! Looking at their photostream, it would appear this is their first publicly released build. I can’t wait to see more.
I used about 18.000 bricks on a working period of 6 months (approx. 150 hours of build) Get more information about: forum.lgoe.at/index.php?topic=4126.0
It’s my 13th entry for Iron Builder competition vs. Gilcelio Chagas. The secret ingredient for this round is 2 x 2 Domes in Dark Blue. For me, this piece from the Friends Hot Air Balloon set is one of the most interesting new part release in 2015. The first time I saw this piece in a MOC was when I saw Ryan Ziegelbauer made this awesome lightbulb for HARDnuary 2015, then I saw Monsterbrick made another awesome lighbulb and a flower for his Beautiful Lego 3: Nature entry using this piece. This flower is inspired from the White African Daisy Flower and actually are meant for my entry for Beautiful Lego 3: Nature, which inspired by how Monsterbrick use it as a flower petal, but due to my late Bricklink orders, it’s failed to meet the deadline and it never come to reality. On this IB it came back to me again, since I think the 2x2 dome will fits perfectly as the center piece of the flower which I first intended using 4 pieces of 1x1 dark blue round brick. I also have tried using the domes to cover all the 2x2 dark blue round bricks which the result is quite nice, but I’m not too fond in using the seed part as many as I can if it's not making the whole creation better, and at the end I still feel it’s better if I use it as the center piece and leave all the 2x2 dark blue round bricks as what I first intended which is using wrench pieces. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Poke me at: ▌ My Youtube ▌ My Instagram ▌ My Facebook ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

My homage to Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey, a drink I always try to have on hand (if not in hand). I figured I'd pair it with something manly like cigars (the rare steaks are just out of frame). Always drink responsibly. Built for Iron Builder 3.0; the seed part this round is the clear hemisphere. www.BruceLowell.com
Just a quick fun build, as the lobster was made to be solo for something else.
Well I think Sean & Steph Mayo (Siercon and Coral) win the prize for making me laugh the hardest at any LEGO model! I love a good play on words at the best of times, but you mix that with Maschinen Krieger during Ma.Ktoberfest…and you know I am gonna like it :D And you simply […]

Two new sets offering hangout spots with lots of foodie details have been combined into one modular MOC by Karen kjm161 using inspiration from both Heartlake Supermarket and Heartlake Cupcake Cafe. The front entrance has lovely tiled sidewalk and enticing bread display in the curved display window. These curvy windows have become very popular in Heartlake City building style. With the roof taken off (since it is a modular building) you get to enjoy the Deli Counter with all the great pieces and elements in the LEGO food category. The back side shows the stairs leading to the Cupcake Cafe above the market. It's nice to see a 4-walled creation with a roof -- considering most Friends-style official sets have half-roofs and no back -- to allow for play access. This MOC would fit well in any City layout and the details do make it somewhat playable -- or at least fun to move around the neat elements. The back door sidewalk tile matches the front. Although it's built for realism, the few whimsical touches ~ such as the Elves wind element seat cushion on the bench by the door, make it even more fun to view!
