Shinichiro es el nuevo médico del hospital de la ciudad. A pesar de haberse titulado hace muy poco tiempo, es una persona positiva y con un carisma poco antes visto, además que tiene muchas ansias de poder especializarse en alguna rama de la medicina. Por otra parte está Wakasa, quién es reconocido en el hospital, no solo por ser uno de los mejores pediatras especializados en oncología sino que también por su mal genio, tendencia al individualismo y su característica cara de pocos amigos. Lo que no saben es que ambos se conocen desde hace mucho pero sólo uno de ellos recuerda al otro. Ya adultos, el destino los va a volver a reunir no solo por las diferentes situaciones que deberán enfrentar en su trabajo, también sus vidas y sentimientos estarán entrelazados a lo largo de todo el camino que les tocará atravesar.
