Je me souviens de la première fois que j'ai vu ces plantes. Au début, j'ai dit "Comme c'est mignon" mais ensuite j'ai touché les feuilles et j'ai été émerveillé! La plante String of Turtles ressemble exactement à son nom commun. Une chaîne ... de tortues. Leurs feuilles succulentes ont un aspect en couches presque translucide, avec des motifs en forme de carapace de tortue en dessous. Je ne peux pas m'empêcher de pincer légèrement les feuilles chaque fois que j'en ai l'occasion! Ces peperomia n'ont pas besoin d'être rempotées fréquemment car elles ont des systèmes racinaires assez peu profonds. Vous devriez faire attention à ne pas les rempoter dans un pot trop grand car cela peut rendre le sol trop humide. Voir les besoins en eau ci-dessous. Les amoureux des animaux seront heureux de savoir que ces plantes ne sont pas toxiques. Mais ne laissez pas la jolie petite Roscoe grignoter ces belles feuilles! Remarque: Les plantes sont uniques!
