La Maternelle d’Aknaibich est le fruit d’une première collaboration entre les architectes français du collectif M.A.M.O.T.H. et l’association belge BC architects & studies. Le projet se formalise donc autour d’un petit bâtiment, une maternelle d’une cinquantaine de mètres carrés pouvant accueillir les enfants de 3 à 6 ans du village, construit avec des matériaux locaux et grâce à des techniques traditionnelles aujourd’hui presques oubliées.

As we finish up 2019 at HbJD, I thought this would be a good grand finale post. I started designing this home last Christmas and worked on building and interior designing / decorating throughout most of 2019 to make it one of our new models. It was very humbling for it to then get voted as best of parade in October by the public. Come and see it on Sundays 1-4 after the holidays! I hope you like it.
