Happy Saturday Peeps!! Today is my final card I made in my Good Morning Magnolia Series. However, it will not be my final card with this set, I just love it to much to not use it again. I do have a couple of Simple cards coming up that is not waercolored and may appeal to you if coloring is not your thing. :) This card features the other flower in the set, the bud. It is just as gorgeous and a lot easier to color. Takes just a bit of color at the base and where the petals overlap each other There is a die for this flower in the die set as well. I tucked in a few pieces of dyed Mossy Meadow twine at the ends of the sentiment piece. The base of my card is Crumb Cake cardstock. I used a piece of the DSP from the Magnolia Lane pack and matted it with a piece of Whisper White. I then used a strip of Crumb Cake and embossed it with the Basket Weave embossing folder I matted that piece with more whisper white and added it to the base. Next arranged my flower in the strip leaving room for my sentiment piece. My sentiment is from the Magnolia set and I stamped it with Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White. I used a die from the Detailed Bands to die cut the sentiment. It was added to the card with dimensionals. I die cut the viney type leaves with Mossy Meadow, they are dies in the Deatiled Bands die as well and added around the flower buds. I finished with a few rhinestones on this one a well. Thanks for stopping by today. Vicki
This is a card I Cased right off the front of the annual catalog. I'm not sure what flowers the catalog used. I thing they fussy cut them out of the Magnolia Lane Dsp also but this is the flower I choose. The background was a little plain so I embossed the little leaves on it. I don't emboss very often but love the look of the white embossing on the Crumb Cake cardstock. This card is using almost all of the Good Morning Magnolia suite I believe. I am missing the Mossy Meadow thread and the embossing folder that comes with this suite. Happy Stamping! Stamper Gyrl!

Happy Friday Peeps!!! I had to pull out my Good Morning Magnolia set, I just love it so much! I had just played around with the new incolor Seaside Spray and wondered how it would look on that big Magnolia. I really think that color is so amazing and looks pretty good on the flower! The base of my card is a piece of thick whisper white. I then used a piece of DSP from the incolor 6x6 pack in Seaside Spray, I love the gingham. I used another piece of white and die cut it with the largest die in the stitched rectangle dies set. I then embossed with the Basket Weave EF, which is back and available to order. YAY!! It is one of my favorite embossing folder! I added my big Magnolia to the card with dimensionals. My sentiment is from the Band Together Stamp set. I die cut two rectangles from the Stitched Rectangle Dies, one in whisper white and another in Seaside Spray for the sentiment pieces. I added it to the card with dimensionals. I finished it with a few Seaside Spray Faceted Dots, from the incolor pack. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi everyone, Recently I have been trying to add cards for all sorts of occasions to my stash and I realised that I didn't have any "sympathy" cards. The cards I have to share with you today are a sneak peek of some new up coming Online Exclusives. I have used the Magnolia Mood Bundle on both cards. I stamped the main image in Smoky Slate on Basic White card stock. I coloured the first image with Blends Markers in Bubble Bath, Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Daffodil Delight. I stamped one of the smaller images in Smoky Slate as a background piece. The Moody Mauve cardstock behind the image was cut with one of the Thoughtful Expressions Dies that was then embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder. For the second card I coloured the magnolia with Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. Behind the magnolia on the card front I used a Blending Brush to add a faint shading of Mossy Meadow ink. The greeting I used is from another new Online Exclusive called Sweetly Scripted. It also has Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Happy Anniversary and a few others. The die cut pieces behind the main image are cut from other dies in the Magnolia Mood Dies. The Online Exclusives are available to customers from the 5th of March. Please contact me for more information or with any questions. Rachel.
A big warm welcome to my regular lovely visitors & also to new hoppers visting me today :) My post is a special one today as we are celebrating STAMPTEMBER at SIMON SAYS STAMP Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. Vicki
The embossed magnolia is so big and beautiful. You really don’t need to add much more!!!
