Felt sewing and embroidery pattern for a mini magpie soft toy. Rosa Mae Magpie is a collector and maker of things. She lives in a corner of the empty attic in the house beside the singing woods. There she keeps her treasures – rolls of ribbon and buckets of nails, jars and boxes of bright feathers and tails. She makes garden rakes and chocolate cakes. She makes buckets and spades and curtains with braid. Rosa Mae is the perfect gift for a small person, to help teach them about birds and nature, and she is just the right size to fit and cuddle in small hands. Make two for joy! This listing is for a hand sewing pattern and tutorial with step-by-step instructions and colour photographs. It also includes a 10 page e-book with tips and techniques for embroidering on felt. Pattern templates are printed full size. The files will be available for instant download as soon as payment is processed. This sewing pattern is perfect for beginners and advanced alike. All stitches are illustrated in the e-book along with tips on materials and transferring designs. Recommended materials: Black and cream felt – a sheet of each: 8” x 10” or A4 size Black, cream and green embroidery thread A wee bit of stuffing Rosa Mae Magpie is approximately 2.75”/7cm tall. Pattern pieces are full size (no enlarging needed) and can be printed on A4 or US Letter paper. Check file names for which format you will be printing in. Please note that due to Etsy’s restrictions on files for download, the tips for embroidery are not available in both formats, but the files will print perfectly on A4 or US Letter.
