Applying your makeup at 20 will differ significantly from how you use it after 40 and beyond. Our skin goes through many changes over the years, and using makeup the wrong way can date your whole look and inadvertently make you look older than you would like to.
My journey with makeup has always been a love-hate relationship. I would think I had found something that would work for my skin and then it stopped working. It was too hard to find the right shades, get the coverage I wanted, stay on all day and still look like ME! About 4 years ago, I found cream makeup. It instantly hydrated and made my extremely dry skin (I had patches of dry skin all over) and redness disappear without layering on product over product to get coverage. It softened my fine lines and felt natural and lightweight. I share this makeup because it changed my skin and makeup journey. Silly how makeup could give me confidence again, but it did. If you can relate to this story, comment ME below and I can personally colormatch you for your own personalized compact-you c

‼️Make sure you’re following me for mature makeup tips for mature skin! I am 43 years old and keep it simple!!👇🏼 ➡️We’ve all seen the regular way to place contour, blush and illuminator, but as we age we lose the “lift” in our faces. This new placement can give an instant lift to any face. ‼️Here’s how to do it👇🏼👇🏼 1. Find the prominent part of your cheekbone and draw your contour line from the temple to the edge of the eye 2. Draw a line with you blush from the edge of the contour upwards (like a V). Make sure to angle it towards the tail of the brow 3. For added glow add an illuminator between the two colors 4. Blend upwards for lift ⭐️Would you try this lifted contour, cheek & illuminator placement? ⭐️Or stick with the traditional?👇🏼 Want to try the cream makeup I’m using?
