I LOVE having days off when I don't have 100 different places to go or errands to run. I also love when it is a mixture of rainy/sunny outside. So I spent some time yesterday (whilst watching some more movies from the Marvel Universe to gear of for Avengers Endgame ... which I saw last night!) stamping and enjoying a little quiet time. It was great!!! The MOMENT I saw the tree stamp in this Memorable Mosaic stamp set I KNEW it was going to have to end up as a purple-colored wisteria!! Ohhhhh my goodness, you guys!!! It turned out just as pretty as I had hoped it would!! Stamps: Memorable Mosaic Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Glossy White Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Soft Suede Accessories: Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Classic Label Punch, 5/8" Burlap Ribbon And because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do (and because I had a LOT of images floating around inside my head), I made a SECOND card (I was kinda making both of them at the same time ... just deciding what I did and didn't like!)!! I did a little watercolor work for the backgrounds on both of these cards ... it's fun now that I have figured out what I'm doing (kind of!)!! Stamps: Memorable Mosaic Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Glossy White Ink: Highland Heather, Soft Suede Accessories: Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Timeless Label Punch, 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, Stapler I did my last long training run before I do a half marathon in Ogden, Utah in a few weeks. Twelve miles ... and I felt pretty good when I was done. I think I am totally ready. We will be tapering the next couple of weeks, so I have a couple of 8-mile runs as well as a handful of 3-4 mile runs. BRING IT!!!

Today’s project is a card made for the weekly sketch challenge set by Patricia Smith in her Facebook Group “Crafting Stamping Club – Smiths Crafty Creations… I thought that the background sections were a bit like tiles and thought Mosaic Mood would be the perfect designer series paper to use. I hope you agree… ... Read More about Mosaic Mood sketch challenge

Hi There! Bruno here with you today. I wanted to share with you a project I made recently using the cool Mosaic Mood Suite of products. WOW! These are really beautiful - ESPECIALLY the paper. Since we are talking about the paper, that was DEFINATELY the starting point for my card. I used Soft Suede, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry - all colours from the DSP. Here is the project; Using our card templates, I started off with a Soft Suede Card Base, I cut the Mint Macaron layer (Poppy Parade Size) and the DSP (Flirty Flamingo Size). I stamped the small background image using the Stamparatus and Mint Macaron ink. I used the hinge-step technique. I then mounted this stamped image onto a piece of Mint Macaron and then onto the card base. Using the Stamparatus again, I stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry ink. I then applied ink to the outer layer using Mint Macaron marker and then again to the very edge of the sentiment using Soft Suede Marker - I love how it turned out. I then cut this out using the Timeless Label Punch. I applied some linen thread behind and then stuck down using dimensionals. This is a very 'BRUNO' card - the layout, the colours, the stamping (Im obsessed with applying colour to stamps using Markers). Thanks so much for stopping by today! The Playful Penguins are perfectly precious - and they aren't just for Christmas. When a friend fell and injured her knee (the second close friend to hurt her knee in the last two weeks), I knew I needed a pick-me-up card for her. These penguins seem to hold a 'happy
