Aside from wishing I'd quilted the 2nd stole with the right and left panels on the other sides so it would look better in the photo, I'm thrilled with how these turned out. These were pieced by Sarah. I used wool batting, for lovely loft and because it's light for wearing (and also it shouldn't crease). Quilted with feathers with pearls in the stems. I'm looking forward to seeing these worn during church service!
This stole has wonderful shades of blue and looks like stained glass, it is lined in blue cotton! It would be a unique stole for Ordinary time, a wonderful Christmas gift or a special stole for a wedding. The width at the neck is 3 1/2 inches and 4 1/2 inches at the end. Message me with the height of the person receiving the stole so I can custom hem it to the appropriate length. This will usually ship within 7-10 days of receiving the height/hem length! This stole will arrive wrapped in blue tissue and white ribbon, in a simple white cotton travel bag- ready to give if it's a gift! How often have you wanted to straighten a clergy's stole? This is how I started on the stole making journey, creating stoles for my husband that hang straight! Using unique, quality materials, that are appropriate for traditional to contemporary worship! My stoles are created using the set-back technique and are over 50% hand stitched, resulting in a clean-looking, tailored and sharp stole with no toeing-in or toeing-out! Thank you for looking! A portion of each sale goes to supporting homeless women in our community!

Stole description This stole is made to order. Please provide the height of the person wearing the stole in the order details. If height details (or preferred length of the stole) are not provided before it is ready to ship, the stole will be made to fit an “average” height of 5’6”. Most, if not all, priest stoles can be made into deacon stoles. If desired, that should also be indicated in the order details. Because each stole is made to order, each stole is slightly different. This is a blessing and curse— your stole will be unique, but it is impossible to provide a perfect replication of what is pictured. Production time for most of my stoles is 3-4 weeks right now. If you need your stole sooner, you may “skip the line” of orders by purchasing the “rush order” along with your stole. https://www.etsy.com/HoneyChildQuilts/listing/1096497179/rush-order?utm_source=Copy&utm_medium=ListingManager&utm_campaign=Share&utm_term=so.lmsm&share_time=1633398856930
