Well that's my guess, judging by the mob cap and apron. Maybe she was in service in a big remote house in Scotland, and had this taken to send to her family back home. I'm not good at dating 19th century photos, but at a guess I'd say 1880s/1890s? cdv by Wm Rodgers, Montrose. Found in Cockermouth.
