These are the materials I use to teach From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler with my 4th and 5th graders. I break the book into two parts, chapters 1-5 and 6-10. Included in the package: 2 comprehension study guides for high and low readers, 2 vocabulary packets, 2 tests, a teacher's vocabulary guide, picture vocabulary cards, and an article from the Metropolitan Museum of Art about the fact and fiction in the book. I also included images of the Wordles I do with my students about character traits to best describe Claudia and Jamie. I've included the files in PDF format to maintain the fonts and formatting, as well as Word documents so you can edit the files if necessary. I hope this helps in your classroom!
