Finding inspiration from the Maximalist design that IS the Gucci Garden, this styled shoot, featured on the cover of the Spring 2023 Edition of WedLuxe, lets a vibrant, eclectic combination of colors, flowers, and prints tell the story. Admittedly, we're still disappointed by the sudden and recent (November 2022) departure of Alessandro Michele. As the (former) creative director of the brand, he was the driving force behind Gucci's multi-year love affair of floral-infused maximalism, which spilled exuberantly into the brand's textile/home collection. These floral prints were also brilliantly integrated into the brand's experiential retail mecca-meets-museum "Gucci Garden" in Florence, Italy. The Gucci Garden, and ultimately, Michele's genius, inspired THESE wedding ideas! So, like the rest of the fashion-loving world, we are VERY excited to see what Italian designer Sabato De Sarno, now the new creative director of Gucci, has in store for the brand's future design direction. With Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino in his CV, the overall creative direction is bound to be amazing... LIFE IS GUCCI, after all! ;)
