Hey loves! I’m so excited for this announcement! I have a new Instagram account ALL about Disney- @talkDisneytoBri! So get ready to talk Disney to me! If you know me, I’m a huge Disney lover. I went for the first time in September of 1990, and I have been hooked ever since! I wanted to create an account where I can share all the tips and tricks I’ve learned about going on vacation to Disney with you. I’ve had the best memories of my life at Disney. I went as a child with my family, Adam and I honeymooned there, and now as a mom of two toddlers we go back every year. On this account I will be sharing things from Disney planning basics, to answering your questions like what is the best age to take your kids to Disney, and which resort is the best to stay in. I hope I can help you make some of the best memories of your life Disney too, and connect with you about the happiest place on earth. Love, Brianna K xoxo
I remember the questions I’d get while pregnant for the first time. Are you breastfeeding or bottle-feeding? Will you have a natural labor or epidural? Are you going back to work or are you staying at home with the baby? The amount of choices and responsibilities that come with parenthood is endless, and everyone with a keyboard or a loud mouth will tell you their opinion these days, which can make you feel like you’re not doing a good job or making the wrong choice. But I promise you- you’re doing an amazing job. The fact that you’re putting so much thought into what’s right for your baby is proof. And just like any human being who starts something new, all mothers simply want validation that they are doing a good job and encouragement to keep going. But let’s face it, whether you’re working out of the house, working at home as a stay-at-home-mom, or working as any form of mom, mom guilt is real. So many of you have requested a post about how to deal with mom guilt. I’m going to share my experience as a mom, and then how I figured out some of the root causes […]
Hey Loves! I asked over on my instagram (@bitsofbri) what blog post you’d like to read today, and I had numerous requests to share mommy motivation tips or self-motivation tips or advice on how to stay motivated. I definitely have days when I have zero motivation and no energy to do anything. And that’s okay- don’t beat yourself up about it! The work we do as moms is hard, and just like any other job, there are days you do not have the motivation. However, I have figured out a couple of things for myself that might seem like no-brainers, but in the heat of mom life, sometimes I need to check in with myself about these five things in order to get motivated and back on track. If you’re not feeling motivated, I hope that these five tips help you find some energy and joy and take action to make your day a little bit brighter. Quick side note: If there is something serious in your life going on that’s causing depression or sadness, do not disregard your mental health. Really hard stuff in life happens, and you cannot blame yourself for not feeling motivated during those times. I […]

All moms are working moms, and we work around the clock! I wanted to show you what my daily schedule looks like when I’m at home on weekdays and when I’m not working on my blog, Etsy business or YouTube channel. I filmed our entire day too, so you can shop with me, clean with me, cook with me, mom with me and spend the day with me! This way you can see what a productive routine and daily schedule looks like for me on the days when I’m in stay-at-home-mom mode. 5:30 – I wake up and make coffee. 5:45 – I then hop on my exercise bike and get some blood pumping! I try to get some work done on my phone while on the bike. I will answer emails and messages and it makes me feel like i’ve started my day with a workout and did something productive! 6:45 – Shower and get ready for the day! I try to be fully ready before the kids wake up, but of course there are days that doesn’t happen! If they did wake up, I’ll put on some makeup and my outfit of the day while the kiddos hang out […]
Before kids, I definitely took my fitness routine for granted. As a single teacher, I would wake up at 5 AM, ride my exercise bike for an hour before showering and getting ready for school. I even had a gym membership, so I’d go to the gym occasionally after school and on the weekends. As a bride-to-be, I was at Pure Barre at least 5x a week, and would add in a hot yoga class a couple times a week too. These days, I’m lucky if I can get in a walk to the park pushing the double stroller, hoping I burn a few extra calories. Or that hour walk around Target was sort of a workout, right? Anyone else?!? So here are some of the things I had to prioritize to make my fitness routine work for me and busy mom life. I have an exercise bike, and I put it in the middle of the playroom. This way, I can keep an eye on my kids and get in at least a 30 minute if not 60 minute cardio workout while they play. I get asked a lot about my exercise bike, and I’ve had this since college, […]

Hey Loves! I posted a q+a on my instagram stories (I’m @bitsofbri over there) and tried to answer as many questions as I could, but there were so many I couldn’t answer on stories, so I figured I’d answer some of the most popular ones and as many as I can get to today over here. What is your favorite season or holiday to decorate for? I think Christmas is my favorite- and all that is coming soon!!! Cannot wait to share the Christmas decor for 2019, but am enjoying the new spooky Halloween decor a lot right now! So truly fall is a very close second! Favorite thing about fall? Besides decorating our home for fall and sharing it with all of you, definitely going to a pumpkin patch with the kids! It’s so much fun to be outside and enjoy the crisp fall weather with them too! Any more gorgeous babies? Aww that’s so sweet of you to compliment Landon and Presley too. We hope so. Praying on it. Baby name ideas you decided against? I loved the name Benton (Benny as a nickname) and Adam said no way. Landon would have been Lydia if he was a […]

Hey Loves! Today I wanted to share my current morning routine with you as a busy mom of two. Mornings are hard for me, especially as a mom. I am a night owl by nature, so this has taken me a lot of time to figure out what type of routine and schedule in the mornings will work best for me. My ultimate goal was to be a happy and patient mom when my kids woke up in the morning. If I woke up when they woke up, I wake up at 5 AM and have some time to myself before the kids wake up. I also wanted my routine to help me feel confident and ready to take on the work I have to do every day. I share my entire 5:00 AM morning routine in this video on my YouTube Channel (I’m Brianna K over there) if you’d like to watch it: Here is the breakdown of my morning routine: 5:00 AM- Wake up, wash face, brush teeth. 5:15 AM- Make coffee. 5:30 AM- Workout, read bible verse and daily devotional, read motivational quotes, answer some emails and messages on the bike. 6:30 AM- Shower and get dressed […]
