One often hears about renovation projects that tear up linoleum, shag carpet, or some equally unappealing flooring to discover a pristine (and now much more attractive) layer of hardwood or tile beneath.

Enjoy an irresistible silhouette with this delightfully feminine crossover design dress. Made of soft, plain-coloured viscose, it is enriched with an underbust band and a discreet belt for a touch of sophisticated class. Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, is full of charm and history. Here are some curiosities: once free criminals and prisoners themselves spat on the ground as a sign of contempt where the Tolbooth prison once existed, demolished in 1817. Today what remains is a heart-shaped mosaic where spitting is a tradition, especially among football fans . It seems to bring good luck. walking through the streets of the city, you will notice that the beautiful benches in the gardens and public parks are often dedicated to a deceased loved one, public figures, groups or a particular event. An example is the famous John Lennon bench that you will find in Princes Street park. It is traditional for Edinburgh Castle to announce 1pm with a cannon. In the past it was used to indicate the time to sailors and to those who wanted to synchronize their watches. Capturing the ephemeral beauty of the Golden hour, this abstract representation of Loch Lomond evokes the tranquillity and splendour of Scotland's renowned landscape. The artwork masterfully plays with light and colour, depicting the soft warmth of the setting sun as it dips behind the silhouetted highlands. In this piece, the horizon is a mosaic of interspersed shapes and bold strokes, with a spectrum of golds, oranges, and creams contrasting sharply against the cooler hues of the reflective waters below. The sun's orb, a brilliant beacon at the centre of the composition, casts a mirror image upon the loch's surface, its glow diffused in a symmetrical dance of light and shadow. The abstraction transforms nature's grandeur into a geometric spectacle, inviting contemplation of the profound balance between calm and vibrance. Each block of colour and segmented line is thoughtfully placed, suggesting the ripple of water, the ruggedness of the distant mountains, and the majesty of the wide-open skies, all converging into a harmonious tableau. For collectors and admirers, this print offers a modern twist on the serene Scottish vista. It is a statement piece that will undoubtedly bring a touch of reflective elegance and contemporary artistry to any interior space.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of colours and shapes that bring to life the unique charm of Tayvallich Harbour at sunset. This abstract rendition captures the essence of Scotland's serene harbourside splendour, where the warmth of the setting sun bathes the landscape in a soft, golden hue. The composition boasts bold, geometric blocks that playfully arrange themselves into the semblance of maritime features. Vivid oranges, passionate reds, and soothing blues jostle for attention, emulating the reflection of the evening sky on the tranquil water. The abstraction hints at familiar sights—a boat here, a warehouse there—yet leaves much to the imagination, inviting the viewer to interpret and find meaning within the dynamic interplay of form and colour. Centre-stage, a large, luminous orb dominates the piece, perhaps representing the sun in its majestic descent. Its radiance spills over rolling canvases of hillside silhouettes to the backdrop, their contours softened by the enveloping twilight. Each square, rectangle, and shape serves as a patchwork piece of the picturesque scenery. One can almost feel the gentle ebb and flow of the tide and hear the whispering conversations between the harbour's inhabitants fading into the evening air. Drawing your gaze through the foreground, you may discern a subtle nod to the harbour’s waterfront architecture: abstracted quayside elements and buildings fade in and out of sight, as if caught in a delightful dance between reality and representation. This abstract print from our 'Scottish Harbours' collection will inject an element of contemporary sophistication into your living space, whilst paying homage to the timeless beauty and tranquil atmosphere that Tayvallich Harbour exudes as day turns to dusk.

2 Pounds of Wildly random Mosaic tiles Expect mostly imperfect pieces. Ceramic tile defects may be slight scratches, missing glaze in some spots, also obvious breakage or manufacturing defects. Glass tiles may be chipped, oddly cut, fused with other pieces, or have some coating on the surface that can usually be scrapped clean. These are all pieces that didn’t make the normal bags I fill because of imperfections, or perfect pieces that fell into my desk drawer while working.
