1946 Hewson Rocket From Motor Trend Magazine, "William Hewson's idea sounded good on paper. Build a small, aerodynamic car out of aluminum with no protruding hardware, and with all lighting fared into the bodywork and sell it for $1000. Powered by a mid-mounted Ford flathead V-8 and three-speed transmission, the rear track was narrower for aero purposes. It was capable of 90 mph, but by the time Coachcraft Limited finished the prototype bodywork, Hewson Pacific Corp. was out of capital and couldn't pay the $16,000 fabrication expenses. Coachcraft kept it in their front showroom for several years, then auctioned it to a used-car dealer in Minneapolis for $650."

He was following a truck that is from around 60 miles away in Batavia, Ohio and may well belong to the owner of that truck as I know he has a whole fleet of old rusty tow trucks and often brings more than one to a show.
