Check out all the photos with Ewah's Challenge counter In joint first place with 23 votes is Lucie Debelkova's "Iran - Beautiful Iranian Girl with Magic Eyes from Kashan" When you travel in Iran you cannot miss some of those lovely Iranian paintings picturing beautiful girls and woman on them. One of the things that caught my eye when looking at those paintings was that women are quite often pictured with their eyebrows that are widened and painted until they appear to meet. I thought it was an artistic vision of the painter rather than a reality, till I started to notice some of the Iranian girls with same physical features. My Iranian friend has mentioned afterward that it used be a fashion style at some point in Iranian history and if the eyebrow didn't physically grow together, ladies used to paint it that way. Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Lens focal length: 24.00 - 105.00 mm, Photo Focal length: 105.00 mm, Aperture: 4.5, Exposure time: 1/160 s, ISO: 400 In joint first place with 23 votes is RobertDouglas' "Pink China" These are billboards surrounding a huge new tower complex in downtown Beijing. They've been building them for over three years now and I have taken a number of photos of cyclists and pedestrians walking past different adverts. This time I did frame the photo and then waited, sitting on the pavement for about 40 min, until the "correct" person walked past. Correct, meaning right type of clothes and color. I shot it on my Canon Powershot s5. In second place with 19 votes is rovinglight's "Tibetan" In third place with 17 votes is MADIASH's "The eyes" In joint fourth place with 16 votes is Give-on's "African Eyes !" In joint fourth place with 16 votes is PBGalerie.ch's "Curious - Kawaza" In joint fourth place with 16 votes is lboogie's "Beautiful Asian elephant eye - Elephant Nature Park" In fifth place with with 15 votes is Sam.Seyffert's "Kalash girl" The Kalash are a tiny and dwindling community of non-muslims living in two valleys in the Hindu Kush mountains in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province. (Frontier as in the frontier with Afghanistan) Kalash culture and belief system differs drastically from the various ethnic groups surrounding them but is similar to that of the neighboring Nuristanis (Kafirs) in northeast Afghanistan, before their enforced Islamization in the last decade of the 19th century. My favourite (apart from the winners) is livetowander's "Determination" There was a battle for territory and a pride of females taking place and the lion in the shot was younger and fitter, going up against the more experienced alpha male of the pride in situ. I never did find out who won the battle...
Sheriff Hassan Shabazz is a character on the Netflix original horror series Midnight Mass. He is portrayed by Rahul Kohli. Sheriff Hassan is the resident sheriff on Crockett Island. He moved there with his son Ali after his wife died from her battle with pancreatic cancer. Given his Muslim beliefs, this has resulted in distrust and tension between the sheriff and the extremely religious, mostly Catholic residents, who mock him by referring to him as "Sharif" instead of "Sheriff." Despite this, H
