Apparently there is an "easily distracted by _" meme -- similar to the "keep calm and _ on" one -- most of these are variations of "easily distracted by cats and __" with books, plants, and gardening being the top substitutions. Occasionally, dogs gets subbed in for cats. You can find puzzles, t-shirts, and posters with these variations on them. Alas, I cannot find its origin or first use. Anyone able to track that down?
