Volume 14
Hello friends. When I saw the mood board at As You See It Challenge, I just had to make a card as blues and flowers are my favorites. ETA: Yea, my card was a Top Pick at As You See It Challenge. The first thing I did was stamp the 3 flowers from SU Two Tone Flora in Pacific Point ink. I stamped the detail image full strength and then the whole image by stamping off once with the same ink. The leaves are stamped with Soft Succulent ink and then the flowers and leaves were die cut with the matching dies. I used an older die and embossing folder for the frame, first die cutting and then embossing the details. I die cut the bow from a retired SU floral set using blue card from an assortment pack from Hobby Lobby. The lt. blue panel is also from the same pack and embossed with SU Tasteful Textile EF (retired). I stamped the sentiment from a retired SU set and then glued the strip behind the frame. I mounted the frame with foam tape for dimension and then added the flowers, leaves and bow. The center flower is mounted with foam tape. I added a rhinestone to the bow center for a final touch, then mounted the whole panel to a white card base. I will also add this to The Flower Challenge as the blues are pretty pastel colors. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn

Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Colleen has chosen the "Topping" option of Circle/Circles. We also have a new Surprise Party Guest joining us for July and August - Isabella from Izzy Scraps. I used all Stampin' Up products for this card - Night of Navy for the background panel and leaves; Merry Merlot ink for sentiment (from a retired set), die cut with a circle Stitched Shapes die, and Merry Merlot cardstock on which I embossed the larger flower from Irresistible Blooms (SU On-Line Exclusive) with white embossing powder. The white panel is die cut with a circle die from the Irresistible Blooms die set and then embossed with one of the new 3D EF which is an On-Line Exclusive. I mounted the die cut sentiment and the flower with foam tape. The leaves are glued under the petals. I am linking to the Color Hues challenge as I used their current colors of Merlot & Navy. and also to Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies Now hop over to Seize the Birthday and check out the way the team used circles for their wonderful cards. I know you will be inspired and I hope to see you in our gallery. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn
