Native American Tribes Brochure: This brochure covers the differences between the Native American tribes in the following regions: The Eastern Woodlands, The Plains, The Southwest, The Great Basin, and The Pacific Northwest Vocabulary included: constitution, chief, village council, nomadic, tribe, pueblos, culture The students will read the brochure to learn the major cultural differences and then complete a quick quiz on the back of the brochure. Early finishers can complete a fun word search on the back too. After completing the brochure the students can demonstrate their knowledge through the following activities: Native American Tribes and Cultures Chart: Students will use chart to fill in the cultural differences of the Native American tribes as they read/ reread along in the brochure. Native American Tribes Map: On this map, students will identify the regions and then cut and paste the different houses in those regions. Easy enough to leave with a sub too!
