Hello stamping friends, I have another sneak peek to share with you from the 2024-2025 Annual catalogue. As a demonstrstor we have access to preorders from new upcoming catalogues. When I first saw the Country Flowers Bundle, I knew it was one that I would love. The stamp set includes two different containers, three foliage and flower stamps, a stool and five greetings. For this card I stamped the front pail and flowers first. I created a mask for the pail and then stamped the stool and the teapot and flowers. I stamped the stool again on a piece of woodgrain card stock from the Country Woods DSP and fussy cut it out. I trimmed the stool so that it would fit behind the front pail. I coloured the image with my Blends Markers and cut out the image with a Deckled Rectangle Die. Happy Easter stamping friends, be sure to pop back soon for more peeks from the new catalogue. If you live in Australia and do not already have a demo, contact me and I can send you your own catalogue as soon as it's available. Happy stamping, Rachel

When you have a bunch of edible blossoms, let their vibrant colors do the work for you. Simply mix chopped flowers (petals and leaves) into softened goat cheese, then shape into rounds and pat more flowers on top. Any edible flower will work; peppery nasturtium, borage, and pansy are shown here. This recipe appears in our cookbook, "Martha Stewart's Vegetables" (Clarkson Potter).

Photographer Oleg Oprisco (previously) who lives and works in Kiev, continues to wow us with his vivid style of conceptual photography that places subjects in the middle of surreal and fantastic tableaus. Oprisco spends large amounts of time scouring flea markets and resale shops to collect props, costumes, and other items for each shot which he often sketches beforehand in a sketchbook, with the final shoot requiring 2-3 days of preparation. 4 years ago I completely demolished my front and back yard, here's the progress including some changes I've made to the focal point of my garden!
It's the movement that never stops moving. Stepping into 2018, the New Perennial movement in naturalistic planting design continues to creep, climb, bloom, and seed its way around the civilized world all the way from Scandinavia and Eastern Europe to Canada, the U.S., South America, China, New Zealand, and beyond. In every pocket, there's a growing convergence of design, ecology, and architecture along with a deepening sense of what is possible and why it matters more than ever before (i.e. the lopsided battle to restore quality of life for all species on the home planet.)

Sure, your granny grew mixed ranunculi and was happy with them, but times have changed, and ranunculi have taken on a new aura of mystery and elegance. Farmer Gracy was thrilled to discover the stunning Italian Ranunculus 'Elegance® Striato Bianco' at the internationally renowned horticultural fair in Essen, Germany, and even more pleased to become its licensed distributor in the UK. No, it’s not something you can get just anywhere: Ranunculus 'Elegance® Striato Bianco' is the product of a renowned Italian plant breeder, and we’re sure you’ll agree that this cultivar is a masterwork! Sporting a profusion of creamy petals edged with a frill of burgundy, Italian Ranunculus 'Elegance® Striato Bianco' is a designer original. It’s a must for connoisseurs searching for plants of distinction – but that’s just why you’re visiting Farmer Gracy’s website, isn’t it?

Over the last 17 years, I have grown and trialed thousands of different foliage, filler, vegetable, fruit, and flower varieties in search of the best ones for cutting. If it has any potential as a cut flower, I’ve probably grown it! Through this process, I discovered that there was a huge disconnect between what florists and designers wanted and what local farmers were able to grow.

This new style of lamp is so whimsical! It’s all handmade with soooooo many Handpainted silk flower petals are topped with handmade clay roses and leaves. The stem has all sorts of resin crystals , flowers, resin druzy gems, hanging flower ornaments and assorted beads. Takes a candalabra bulb, (low ambient light) and uses USA socket cord that’s built into the stem. Handle with care! It is delicate and won’t fare well in rough environments where it could be hit or knocked over, or where there is excess moisture or sun.
Here's a fact: sometimes you just need to get away. To escape the hustle and bustle of noise, electronics, media and highways...

One of the tiny offices on the third floor, with orange tulips at mid-day. In 2003, a building housing the Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC) was slated for demolition to make way for updated facilities. The closure was a time for reflection and remembrance as the MMHC had been in operation for over nine decades and had touched thousands of patients and employees alike, and the pending demolition presented a unique problem. How does one memorialize a building impossibly rich with a history of both hope and sadness, and do it in a way that reflects not only the past but also the future? More
