I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures. This edition illustrates the stunning music from the classic Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' by Ennio Morricone. Perhaps his most famous piece of music and iconic with movie fans across the world. Although the music for the gripping final scene is actually another fantastic theme, Il Triello (The Trio), I have used the Main Theme that is used throughout the movie and the one that most people associate with the film. I may illustrate the same poster using the sheet music of Il Triello in the future. The scene depicted is the amazing Mexican Standoff in the cemetery between Clint Eastwood as Blondie (The Good), Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes (the Bad) and of course Eli Wallach as Tuco (The Ugly). If you look hard enough you may be able to find the grave marked 'Unknown' where the money is hidden. Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home. PLEASE NOTE: The poster can be resized to any measurement, please contact me to discuss your requirements. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: All the artwork sold on headfuzz by grimboid shop is 100% Unofficial. Now that we've discussed the good and the ugly, it's time for the bad. The bad began very early in the morning with Emmett and his shoes/socks. It took forever to work him into them, so we could head out the door. The meltdown was significant and had a lasting impact on all of us, especially poor Emmett. Perhaps the worst part of the bad from yesterday is in regards to Elliott. One of the errands we had to run was getting the boys haircuts. We were finally able to convince Elliott to get his hair cut shorter. While his
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Italian: Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo) is a 1966 Italian epic spaghetti Western directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach in the title roles. The screenplay was by Age & Scarpelli, Luciano Vincenzoni and Leone, from a story by Vincenzoni and Leone. The widescreen cinematography was by Tonino Delli Colli, and Ennio Morricone composed the film score. The film was the third and final entry in Leone's popular "Dollars" trilogy, following A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and For a Few Dollars More (1965). The Tagline for the film was "For Three Men The Civil War Wasn't Hell. It Was Practice!" Original Reviews The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966) Alternate Titles: Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo Title: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Running Time: 161 Minutes In the last and the best installment of his so-called "Dollars" trilogy of Sergio Leone-directed "spaghetti westerns," Clint Eastwood reprised the role of a taciturn, enigmatic loner. Here he searches for a cache of stolen gold against rivals the Bad (Lee Van Cleef), a ruthless bounty hunter, and the Ugly (Eli Wallach), a Mexican bandit. Though dubbed "the Good," Eastwood's character is not much better than his opponents -- he is just smarter and shoots faster. The film's title reveals its ironic attitude toward the canonized heroes of the classical western. "The real West was the world of violence, fear, and brutal instincts," claimed Leone. "In pursuit of profit there is no such thing as good and evil, generosity or deviousness; everything depends on chance, and not the best wins but the luckiest." Immensely entertaining and beautifully shot in Techniscope by Tonino Delli Colli, the movie is a virtually definitive "spaghetti western," rivaled only by Leone's own Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). The main musical theme by Ennio Morricone hit #1 on the British pop charts. Originally released in Italy at 177 minutes, the movie was later cut for its international release Yuri German, All Movie Guide Director - Sergio Leone Screenplay - Sergio Leone Screenplay - Luciano Vincenzoni Producer - Alberto Grimaldi Actor - Clint Eastwood Actor - Eli Wallach Actor - Lee Van Cleef Actor - Aldo Giuffre Actor - Mario Brega Actor - Luigi Pistilli United Artists Films THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY / HANG EM HIGH DOUBLE FEATURE RELEASE I am adding this section here as it was a popular release at the time. Now that we've talked about the ugly and gotten that over with, let's balance things out with the good.. ☺ I'll begin by sharing that the boys both had amazing days at school. Elliott lost a point and ended up having a green day instead of a teal day, whatever the fuck that means. Green seems like it would be a good color. Either way, it was a good day. After the boys got home and I was feeling better, we ran some errands and went to CiCi's Pizza for dinner as a family. That doesn't happen very often at all
