Tonight I stamped with a new Cornish Heritage Farms Scrapblock, all excited about making a card with my new Aged Sheet Music backgrounder! Then I started looking in my stash for an image to use with it. Hmmm. No cool music stamps, and no music quotations even. :-( Finally I had a brainstorm--I could use a stamp that said "Just a Note." I grabbed a box of stamps that had arrived last week and found my solution--the Just Rite, Just A Note 2x Stamper. It's pre-inked in black, which worked perfectly with my sheet music background. I stamped a couple of these images to cut out with some of my Spellbinders label dies. Next I used some Vintage Photo Distress Ink to sponge the edges of both the music and the tags. (I usually use a more subtle Antique Linen Distress Ink, but since the sheet music had more visual...

These handmade note card ideas are simple enough for a beginning card maker or those who want to make greeting cards quickly!
Hello friends! I finished off another 6x6 paper pad. This time I used Summer Daisies from Scrapping for Less. I really like the floral designs and soft colors. This collection would be perfect for a variety of card themes including sympathy or birthday. I decided to stick with mostly general and thank you sentiments though
Hi everyone, sharing two of the projects the ladies made at last weekend's class. It uses the True Love Designer Series Paper and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. The flowers were cut from the Designer Series Paper and coloured using Dark and Light Real Red and Dark and Light Old Olive. I will admit that I had a bit of trouble working out which way was up or down with these flowers and after looking at the pictures I think I still got it wrong, especially with the box but the good thing is you can just turn it up the right way. The box is one of the Love You Always Treat Boxes available in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. There is no adhesive required in putting these boxes together and they are perfect for giving a little gift. I love the contract of the black and white in the Designer Series Paper with the pop of red. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Thank you for visiting. Carolyn Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest True Love

I’ve been having a clear-out of my retired items on Ebay. I wanted to send a thank you card to send with the items and needed something quick and easy without compromising on style. As I’ve been making a conscious effort to pull out some old favourites that haven’t seen some love in a while, I decided to make a Quick and Easy Swirly Bird card. I liked this card… Read More »
Once, I wanted to make a special card for my friend's birthday. I searched for ideas everywhere but everything seemed so complicated or needed stuff I didn't have. Then, I found a simple method using just paper, markers, and some old magazines. It was not just easy but also a lot of fun. I cut out pictures from magazines, drew some doodles, and put it all together. My friend loved it because it was unique and personal. Later, I maked more cards for different events like holidays and thank you notes. I realized that making cards is not just about

Hi everyone! I'm here to share a set of cards created with the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Emma Background Stamp and Jumbo Stripes Stamps paired with Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks. Read through to the end of the post to see who the winner of the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit is. Here are the cards: I heat embossed Simon's Emma Background with White Satin Embossing Powder on nine pieces of Canson Watercolor Paper. As much as I love using Doodlebug Design's bright and cheerful 6x6 paper pads, once in awhile I like to change it up a bit. I like to make cards that offer encouragement or brighten someone's day. Showing kindness to others is so important. That's why I personally mail out quite a few handmade cards
