There are some specific Greek/Latin prefixes and roots that might need to be deleted/changed (depending on your word study), but the rest of the test is the same ELA stuff we all teach! There are no reading passages, just terms, including: story elements (theme, plot, resolution, climax, conflict, etc.), figurative language (alliteration, personification, etc.), characterization, and a lot more. Could be used as a pre/post test for either 7th or 8th grade. I will be making this into an ActivInspire Flipchart too, so look for that soon!
