Fotografias são pequenos pedaços da eternidade.
‘I’m going to live to 100. What age would you like to live to?’ George asked me not long after we’d started dating. ‘I’ve never thought about it’ I lied …
My photographies are like screenshots from beautiful but cruel fairy tales. Their narrations are not straight. Images that appear are more like feelings that come during a lecture of an old folk-based story – full of witchcrafts and retributions.

IT has featured incest, a gory amputation and even male nudity but War And Peace reached an emotional conclusion – thanks to a dog.
I had gotten off the Ohio Turnpike on the last exit going east to get gas when I spotted this unlikely abandoned house near the gas station. I think it is early twentieth century but looks like something you would find in an upscale suburb of the 1920's. The barn following was on the property. I have intended to try to find it and get better pictures. Recently I ran across a set by jeffdoolittle4, taken about a year ago. It doesn't seem to have changed much except for a little more deterioration: www.flickr.com/photos/jeffdoolittle4/2979002825/in/photos...

Research has shown that modern women spend, on average, $8 a day on their appearance. But we are fans of the natural look, so we couldn’t miss the opportunity to show you what women with no modern beauty procedures looked like. It seems like some beauty is timeless, and in previous centuries, there were plenty of people who could teach us a lesson or 2 about genuine, natural beauty.
I know I promised some of you a story this time, but there's just no way into this fantastic castle. It's alarmed and guarded, 24 hours a day. So bribing the guard is the only way to get a few hours of photographing fun inside. I have to admit, i miss the tension and thrills that come with illegal explorations, but I would not have missed out on this for the world. www.facebook.com/martinozegwaardphotography
Blank Greeting card, 4 x 4.5". Virginia Oldoini, the Comtesse de Castiglione, was a girl I could get to like. That photography like this was being done in those years astounds and delights me, but the more I read about her, the easier it becomes to understand! At one time, she spent nearly her entire fortune on a photo project with photographer Pierre-Louis Pierson. These amounted to some 700 portraits of her in her various costumes, including this one, circa 1863-1866. (Yes, I'm jealous!) You may mix various images in the specials below, just leave a note telling me which ones you want! George Lawrence Bulleid (1858-1933) was born in Glastonbury, Somerset in 1858, the son of a local solicitor and Councillor. Bulleid joined the family firm but in 1881 but soon left to study at the Marylebone and West London School of Art under the instruction of the Principal, George Simpson. As with so many Victorian artists of the time, he had a strong affection for classicism and antiquity,
