Old School House off of Hwy 50 on the way to Elmdale.
Buildings, like many other things, wear down over time, so it's no surprise that cities and countrysides are home to abandoned lighthouses and misused warehouses. But a rising architectural approach called adaptive reuse offers a way to give a second life to these structures.

An old abandoned school, south of Tikitiki. The school yard in front is now trampled by cows rather than children. The cows (and a lot of rain) were probably responsible for this school yard being completely water logged I discovered this too late after soaking my shoes with muddy water. The farmer has used the building to store an old car, seen poking out at the rear end of the building. . The teacher's house, also abandoned is situated out of sight, behind the school

For whom the bell tolls No man is an island, Entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. As well as if a manor of thine own Or of thine friend's were. Each man's death diminishes me, For I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee. by John Donne Grafton , Utah – ghost town south of Zion National Park , close to Rockville. Bell tower ( steeple ) of the schoolhouse / church / meeting place . Interesting place well worth stopping when visiting Zion National Park.
