One Day When My Children are Grown The process of making your sign first starts with your background paper color selection with 48 options available. (See photos 3,4, and 5) Photo 2 shows which background color option was selected for the display photo. If you would like your sign to look as pictured in the sample, choose that paper number. Choose your sign size in the second option box The highest quality I/4 inch Baltic Birch plywood (or Birch Plywood depending on availability) is first painted Light Ivory to give the sign edges and back a clean neutral appearance A high quality archival print is printed on acid free card stock. It is then decoupaged to the wood size you have selected. The front edges are then lightly sanded The sign is finished with an acrylic finish. All signs come with a saw-tooth hanger attached to the back so they are ready to hang. Because these signs contain paper, only display your sign indoors in a clean dry environment.
