Cernunnos is a Celtic god associated with fertility, abundance, and the wilderness. He is often depicted with antlers on his head, holding a torc (a neck ring), and surrounded by animals such as stags, bulls, and snakes. Cernunnos is considered to be a deity of both life and death, and is associated with the changing of seasons and the cyclical nature of existence. The worship of Cernunnos and other Celtic gods and goddesses was prevalent in ancient Gaul, Britain, and Ireland, and there is evidence of their influence in Roman Gaul as well. Today, Cernunnos is still revered by modern-day neo-pagan and Wiccan groups, as well as by those who are interested in Celtic spirituality and mythology. "The Dryad" A 5x7 greeting card from the original painting by Emily Balivet, 2014. In Greek mythology, the dryads are female spirits of nature (nymphs), who preside over the groves and forests. Each one is born with a certain tree over which she watches. The lives of the dryads are connected with that of the trees; should the tree perish, then she dies with it. If this is caused by a mortal, the gods will punish him for that deed. The dryads themselves will also punish any thoughtless mortal who would somehow injure the trees. The card measures 5x7 and is printed on acid free, archival quality smooth, matte stock...Perfect for framing, too! The card comes sealed in a protective cello sleeve along with an ivory envelope. Please browse my shop sections for other sizes. Domestic and international shipping via First Class mail. I combine shipping on multiple purchases. DAILY PAGAN RITUAL IDEAS Making time for rituals is important to every pagan. So how are we suppose to find time to honor the old gods when most of us work 40+ hours a week, go to school, have houses to run and try to have some kind of a social life? That's easy. We make time. Here's a few ideas you can try working into your daily life: 1. Give an offering of incense. Use plant properties from within the incense that correlate to your chosen deity(s) and leave your gods an offering. Like these incense, here.2. Don't like burning incense? Leave a different offering. Each god or goddess likes different offerings, that's a given. Leave offerings of jewelry, coins, a hand crafted item you made, herbs, libations, meat, vegetables or anything else you find suitable for your god(s). Loki seems to enjoy when I burn things for him, so I make time for that weekly.3. Go on a quick walk outdoors. Being outdoors will re-connect you with mother earth, the goddess Skadi and god Ullr, lowers stress levels and brings us much needed calmness from the hustle and bustle. If you can't take a long hike in the heathen church consider just eating your lunch outside. Even an extra ten minutes of fresh air a day will do wonders for your health. 4. Meditate. There's tons of free guided meditations on youtube. If you don't want to bother with technology while you meditate just sit somewhere quiet and visualize your favorite rune. 5. Pay attention to Omens and signs from nature. The gods and ancestors often use nature to communicate with us. Look for any signs they might be sending you and reflect on them. 6. Clean your altar space. If your altar is cluttered your ritual most likely will be, too. Take a little time to dust off your altar space, re-organize your ritual tools and leave out a fresh offering to your gods. 7. Do a little research. Knowledge is power. Take 15 minutes a day to study up on paganism, your chosen deity or new rituals to try. 8. Love your family and pets. A large part of paganism is working off good intention and manifesting good things. By loving your family and pets you will give off good energy and will, in return, receive good energy! 9. Light a candle and manifest your goal. Working on a goal? Light a candle that corresponds to your goal (for instance, green for prosperity or purple for calmness) and manifest it by saying out loud "[This is my goal] and I am going to accomplish it by [doing these things]". You can also carve your intention (or bindrune) into the candle and visualize it becoming a reality as it melts away. 10. Cleanse your home and body. Cleansing yourself, home and ritual work space will help you feel grounded, will remove negative energy and help promote well being. 11. Write in a journal. Take time to reflect. Write down what you're manifesting, aspects of rituals that work/don't work for you, positive notes about your day or whatever you're inspired by. Also consider writing down your "To-do" list for the following day to be better organized. 12. Carry a pocket talisman. Make yourself a talisman to help you be more successful within a ritual you are working on. by carrying it with you it will absorb your energy and help you manifest your ritual desires. 13. Burn bindrunes for success. Draw yourself a bindrune for a specific ritual and burn it every day until you are successful. 14. Work out. I'm pretty sure Odin wouldn't want to give praise to someone who stagnates like a useless sack of potatoes. Move around, lift weighs, throw around a kettlebell, jog, anything to get you moving. 15. Cast the runes. Even if you only have time for a single rune draw. Rune casting is a great way to see valuable insight. Like these handmade rune sets. 16. Plan your next ritual. Good planning always means more success. 17. Visit the same part of the forest every 9 days. 9 is relevant within Norse Mythology for a very long, long list of reasons. Take time every 9 days to visit the same outdoors area to re-connect with the gods, leave an offering and to spend a little time outside. Consider building an outdoor altar made of biodegradable materials to re-visit. A hole near the base of a tree works great!
First, a few words about the terms used in the title of this essay: Anglo-Celtic is often used to refer to the diaspora from Britain into lands like
SEGÚN EL SIGNO EN EL QUE HAYAS NACIDO HAY UNA DIOSA CELTA QUE TE CUIDA, TE PROTEGE Y TE ACOMPAÑA TODOS LOS DIAS DE TU VIDA. CUANDO LA INVOCAS TE ESCUCHA. ESTAS SON LAS DIOSAS CELTAS QUE CORRESPONDE…
While you may have heard the term, what is Paganism, exactly? Being a Pagan isn't as simple to define as you may think.

Within Paganism, there appear to be an equal number of women and men in leadership roles. One of the most popular female Druids today is Emma Restall Orr, one

Ash Tree, Tree Wisdom Banner Wall-hanging, 100 x 50 cm, eco-friendly, high-quality Organic Cotton fabric print, Pagan, Celtic, Druid Ogham ~°* Details *°~ This unique big format Forest art wall-hanging is designed to bring the magic of the trees into your home and sacred spaces. Since 2019, I have been working on a Tree Wisdom series. My vision is to bring artwork into the world, that is ceremonially co-created with the tree spirits themselves. In this process, I offer my eyes and hands to the trees and invite them to communicate through the creative journey I embark on. Each image is designed to act as a portal that allows the observer to directly connect with the essence of a particular tree spirit. Printed on paper or cotton canvas, these pictures can be used as sacred altar decorations and totemic art for ceremonial spaces. >> The Ash Tree - Tree Wisdom Banner: In ancestral times, spears and bows made from Ash were part of initiatory rites into warriorhood, so the tree itself became associated with strength and masculinity. The Ash tree is straight and strong, but it's also curvy and flexible. In pre-patriarchal times, Ash was seen as feminine and was associated with the moon and the water. Ash shows us a graceful equilibrium between masculine and feminine characteristics. The Ash tree can help us establish a conversation between those two parts we all have inside of us and guide us towards greater balance. Irrespective of gender, we can all benefit from accessing our inner warrior, for clarity of intent, a sense of direction and inner authority. In our time, the Ash tree steps forward, to unite the opposites. To help us bring masculine and feminine energies into balance. To develop focus and alignment, from that balanced and harmonious place inside. These are some of the insights I have woven into the creation of this Tree Wisdom banner. I incorporated the tree's lessons into the symbolism of the artwork. The frame shows a man and a woman carved in wood, both holding a spear. For me, this represents that the warrior spirit of the ash tree can find a healthy expression in both men and women. ~°* Material *°~ You will receive a high-quality eco-friendly organic cotton canvas wall-hanging, printed by a professional UK-based company. ~°* Size *°~ 100 x 50 cm, 39.3 x 19.7 inches.
