Just as coffee beans from different parts of the world can vary in their end-product, Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) trees also vary in their aromatic nuances depending on their particular geo-regional source. At the most fundamental level, our Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood of Ecuadorian-origin is slightly more petite in size & rounded in shape, with "sweeter" notes of cinnamon, vanilla, & coconut. Our Peruvian-origin is slightly larger in size & and more rectangular in shape, with the "spicier" notes of citrus, mint, and diesel. Both can exhibit aromatic notes of the other, depending on the particular pieces of wood.
