This card was featured on Pinterest, and I immediately thought it would make a wonderful Mother's Day card for my class. However, 3 of my students do not have their mother anymore, so I changed the sentiment for something more neutral. It is a partial case from Biggan at splitcoaststampers. However, I did change a few things around. I started by punching five 1 3/8" circles, and sponging them with Blushing Bride with the edges Pear Pizzaz. These I folded into dahlia flowers using this tutorial. The stem was die cut using Pear Pizzaz cardstock and the Bouquet die. The stem and flowers were arranged on a Very Vanilla background embossed with the script embossing folder. This background was matted with Pink Pirouette cardstock and then a 1/4" Pink Pirouette ribbon and bow were adhered to the bottom. This was adhered to a Sahara Sand layer, which in turn was adhered to a Blushing Bride base card. The sentiment is "For Being You" (SAB) and was punched using the oval die. The oval was reinserted back into the punch to reduce its size. It was also sponged with Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz. Supplies Used: Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog I also used the script embossing folder (retired) and the Bouquet die.
