Oh No Not Another Flippin' Soapbox: A couple of months ago I applied to enter the Red Bull Soapbox Derby at Alexandra Palace and as I sold the Model 'T' at Bonhams last September and the prototype of the '32 sedan is looking a little 'careworn' I thought it would be the perfect opport…

Build a 3-Way Model A Delivery Wagon Pedal Car just like the one in these pictures! This project was originally featured in POPULAR MECHANICS magazine! Read below for more information! Please join our mailing list! We send news about our plans and projects, as well as tips and new techniques and lots of fun feedback from builders like you! https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5ec95dca685b8d0026ef784d The Delivery Wagon has always been one of our popular pedal projects, along with the two other lever-drive pedal cars, The Pedal Racer and Pedal MG TC. The Delivery Wagon design is based on one of our favorite cars: The Ford Model A. We think that the venerable Model A is one of the classic automobiles of the 1930's, holding its own with many of the European designs. Our Delivery Wagon plans show how to build three variations: The Delivery Van, a Dump Truck (great for young landscapers and helping in the yard - Well...perhaps more fun than help!), and a Speedster for racier drivers! The new Digital Version is complete with step-by-step directions, diagrams, full-size patterns, photos, and materials list — Everything which was in the original printed plans, plus some new tips, techniques and information!. These plans make it easy for beginner builders to complete a project to be proud of! For more details, please go to our website here: http://www.stevproj.com/ This Etsy listing is for the PLANS only, not the completed project. The plans contain building text description of how we built ours, and drawings and photos so YOU can build your own copy of this project. Measurements are in the US/Imperial system.

Build an MG TC Pedal Car just like the one in these pictures! This project was originally featured in POPULAR MECHANICS magazine! Read below for more information! Please join our mailing list! We send news about our plans and projects, as well as tips and new techniques and lots of fun feedback from builders like you! https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5ec95dca685b8d0026ef784d The Pedal TC is based on a car we've always loved: The MG TC. The TC is arguably one of the most essential sports cars of all of motoring history and we have always admired their style and the fun they embody. When we were thinking about what pedal cars we might want to make, the MG TC was a quick choice. This pedal project uses the same type of lever-drive as our Pedal Racer and Delivery Wagon machines as it's a safe, low maintenance drive system. The steering, wheels, and drive system are all made from simple hardware store items easily modified with a vise and hand tools. No welding is required for any of our projects. The entire body is built with lumber and plywood and several full-size patterns are included to make sure everything shapes up right! The Pedal TC is a project we think you'll be proud to give someone, and which they'll really enjoy driving! The new Digital Version is complete with step-by-step directions, diagrams, full-size patterns, photos, and materials list — Everything which was in the original printed plans, plus some new tips, techniques and information!. The Pedal Racer is a pedal car for the ages! In this case, perhaps the younger ages, but the wonderful lines of the Pre-War French race cars are rolling pieces of sculpture which we think are pretty much timeless! Not surprising, seeing as how the Bugatti family had many great sculptors and designers, creating art pieces ranging from furniture to amazing racing cars and elegant boulevard machines! Our Pedal Racer tries to capture a little of this iconic French style with elements from the Type 35's, a bit of Type 59, and a little of bit of some others. It's a classic racer you can keep in your garage, ready to hit the track when speed-minded youngsters come around! The drive system is lever-type, rather than chain, for easy maintenance and safety. Please join our mailing list! We send news about our plans and projects, as well as tips and new techniques and lots of fun feedback from builders like you! https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5ec95dca685b8d0026ef784d The seat is adjustable to fit different drivers (in fact, our office manager at the time we built the Pedal Racer was a petite woman and she used to have fun tearing around the driveway in the car!) The Pedal Racer is a winner, both with drivers and their shop crews (or builders, in this case!) The Pedal Racer requires no welding skill, as is usual for our projects. All of the materials are easy to find at hardware stores and home centers, and no special tools are required to build the car. The body of the Pedal Racer is largely aluminum (as a proper racer should be!), with structural elements of plywood and lumber. The iconic cast aluminum Type 35-style wheels are made of plywood for ease-of-construction while keeping a good visual style. The detailed digital plans include drawings and a complete building guide showing how we built our Pedal Racer, and they also have full-size patterns for many of the parts including the iconic Type 35-like wheels! Get the plans with everything you need to get building your pur-sang Pedal Racer today! Our plans are incredibly detailed and easy to follow. These are the new digital plans, complete with step-by-step directions, diagrams, photos, and materials list. There are lots of full-size patterns, also, so cutting the important parts is accurate and simple. The full-sized patterns are still part of the new digital plans, but now arranged to be printed on Letter-sized paper and tiled together to create the full curves of the original large sheets. These plans make it easy for beginner builders to complete a project to be proud of!
