Peggy Sue reblooming bearded Iris. These perfectly formed, fragrant blossoms have light pink standards and ivory-pink falls with striking mandarin-orange beards. Reblooming Iris germanica 'Peggy Sue' has won awards from the ican Iris Society, including the coveted Award of Merit. Hardy zones 3-10. Easy care perennial. Plant in full sun, fertile, moist, but well draining soils. Listing is for one bare root division. 2nd photo shows the stages of drying for storage of iris over winter. Your iris may have some green growth, dried up growth, or no old growth (completely cut back). Iris rhizomes are bulbs that appear quite dead, but are not. As long as the root is not spongy feeling it will grow in spring.
