If you are looking for Halloween decorations, I have gathered my favorite picks for a spooky and fun occasion for every budget and style.
While orange and black is a classic combination, pink Halloween is just too cute to spook! So, if you’re searching for fun and fresh kids Halloween party ideas, consider adding a dash of pink into the mix. We threw this ghoulie-girl bash, featuring friendly ghost party supplies and pastel Halloween decor, that we can’t wait to share. So read on for our best pink Halloween party tricks and treats! Our ideal pastel Halloween party color palette is one featuring lots of pinks, purples, and oranges, so Pop Park City made this boo-tiful Halloween balloon garland full of all three shades. We layered the balloons around a lavender moon decoration to create a whimsically witchy party backdrop. If you aren’t in the mood for a big balloon garland, this holographic bat balloon is a fang-tastic alternative. We recommend layering it with your Halloween wall decor, or hanging it upside down above the party table. Waffle panel balloon walls are another great way to pump up the party. Layered with daisy balloons and cute Halloween balloons, it’s the perfect set-up for a groovy ghouls Halloween party! We’re all about freakin’ bats; so we invited some pink and orange die-cut bats to join the party! They come in a pack of 50, so the wall art possibilities are endless. They’re also super inexpensive, so if you want to win “mummy of the year” be sure to pick up an extra bag for your little girl to decorate her bedroom or playroom with! You can never have too many wall decorations, so it doesn't hurt to bring in some party fans. The best part about this orange and pink party fan set is that it pairs well with a variety of other decorations, like these fun holographic spider webs. For other pastel party decor, faux pumpkins are the way to go. We opted to use Glitterville pumpkins in pink and sherbert, but velvet pumpkins are a fabulous option as well. We recommend lining a few down the party table or along the base of your balloons. Much of our party inspo can be attributed to this pretty pastel collection from My Mind’s Eye. So with the help of their spooky-cute supplies, we transformed our kitchen dining table into a pink Halloween dream! Every other setting featured a scalloped pastel plate and a darling jack-o-lantern bucket napkin. While the others had a gourd-geous duo of bright pumpkins and friendly ghost-shaped plates. We also added coordinating napkins, cutlery, cups, and straws to tie the whole pink party together. We suggest completing your tablescape with some boo flags, and spooky Halloween spider surprise balls. If you want to bring a little more contrast, feel free to pop in some black plates and darker party pieces. The striking combination of black and pink will make your Halloween tablescape all the more eye-catching. To recreate this retro pink setting, mix and match with pink and orange check plates and napkins, cute ghost plates and napkins, and pink witch plates. Throwing a Halloween party without costumes is borderline criminal, so make sure your little guests dress to impress! Meri Meri is our go-to for kids Halloween costumes because they’re always adorable and always high-quality. These flamingo costumes and star costumes are especially perfect for the ghouls that wanna have fun! At Bonjour Fête, cakes aren’t just for birthday parties which is why we recommend including one at your not-so-spooky celebration. This pink cake layered in lavender and orange frosting was the perfect compliment to our Hallow-pink party. And of course oui adored those petite ghost macarons! Halloween is right around the corner, and this year it’s going to be… well, different. Many of the things I used to love about the season — parties, haunted hayrides, trick-or-treating — have been put on hold thanks to COVID-19. But don’t worry; I believe we can still have a spooky AND SAFE Halloween, and this photo shoot proves it! When I designed this shoot, I wanted to highlight the fun and whimsy of Halloween — you know, all that “Hocus Pocus” that makes this holiday so special! We started with a cute and colorful invite from Yasmin Campos, and then created an event space both spooky and chic! The key to our cute Halloween vibe was playing with colors and textures. I used various shades of purple and orange to brighten up the standard spooky black, while velvet linens from Table Occasions, gorgeous florals from Laura Carrillo Designs, and a little glitter (ok, A LOT of glitter) added that extra something special. Additionally, I opted for decor that kept the spirit of the season without being too scary. A few on-theme balloons like this witch’s hat and this iridescent ghost put everyone in the Halloween mood, while our glittery bats added a fun 3D effect to the walls (PERFECT for your party IG pic). Finally, this adorable “Hey Boo” banner completed our sassy/spooky party vibe! Of course, you can’t have a Halloween party without heaps of treats — and some of our favorite vendors were ready to give us the sugar rush of a lifetime! Cloud Nine came through with an amazing cotton candy cart. Tiers and Flours served up a delicious (and SO cute) cauldron cake, and Fancy and Royal Treats finished off the party with tasty skeleton cookies. These girls were ready to chow down (with their adorable plates and cups from our Hocus Pocus collection) — and I can promise you they loved every last bite! Lastly, what good is a party without an equally spooktacular invitation?! Our talented friend Yasmin from Coffee Creative Co designed the perfect invitations to match the theme! Although Halloween (like most of 2020) will be very different this year, you and your little monsters can still have the time of your lives. With a little creativity, a few handfuls of glitter, and the right supplies from MeParty, you can have a Halloween bash that's so much fun, it’ll feel like magic! Pin Who said Halloween parties have to be only orange and black? You can assemble a party with any colors you have in mind. This time I wanted to create...
It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of traditional Fall colors in my home decor. While I absolutely LOVE everything about Fall, INCLUDING the changing leaves on the trees, I don’t find that they work well inside my house because I don’t have any of those colors present. So as you probably saw last week, I opted for a more natural palette for my Thanksgiving tablescape that compliments the current colors in my home. So it should come as no surprise that this year, I decided to extend my orange “aversion” into my Halloween decor and opt for something COMPLETELY different. To be totally honest, I’m actually not a huge fan of Halloween and I think it’s because of how dark and spooky all the merchandise is. Especially having young children who love to help decorate, I don’t want them exposed to all the blood, gore and gutts that are on full display this time of the year. So I started dreaming of ways that I could still decorate and set up a beautiful Halloween party, but make it kid friendly, while still working with the colors in my home. And this is what I came up with! I...
