Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to share a brand new layout with you featuring the Banners from Paige's 20 Summer Cut Files bundle paired with her Blooming Wild collection. For my layout I chose to scrapbook a graduation photo of my daughter and thought the banners nicely fit the the theme of my page. Starting with the background I went with Paper 20, to which I added some stars with texture paste using the Stars Background Cut File as a stencil. Next I cut the Banners from the 20 Summer Cut Files from white cardstock and backed it with Paper 21. Then I adhered it to the page and added machine stitching across the top of each row of banners. I also added foam squares to the banners to give them some dimension. Then I matted my photo in white cardstock and Paper 21 and tucked it in with the banners. For embellishments I used the Thickers, Sticker Book, Cardstock Stickers, Chipboard Stickers and the Mini Flower Puffy Stickers. I also added in the mini alpha Thickers and Layered Bouquet Stickers from Splendid. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have fun creating with the 20 Summer Cut Files! Today I'm sharing a super cute fun fold for Christmas! I absolutely could not resist using this DSP and those POLAR BEARS are so darn cute. I didnt mind at all that I had to fussy cut them out. This paper has so many fun 'scenes' that this is the perfect style card to show off lots of the patterns. I was a bit cheeky and used the stamp set that comes in the Christmas Card kit, why not right? The stamps are not just for the kits! The wreath is from Cottage Wreaths and how cute does Mr Polar Bear look there? I also fussy cut the gift and placed it in front of him as though he's 'going to check it out' Here are the 'merry christmas' sentiment from the card kit, love the font, its very Arial, and would suit ANYYYY christmas card Here are some of the other images in the stamp set, stamped in the coordinating colours of the DSP. I can't say enough about this christmas colour combo - its bright, its fun yet traditional all at once. Here's a free tutorial! What will you create using this Triple Accordian Fun Fold? Thanks so much for stopping by and hopefully I have inspired your creativity. I love reading your comments, be sure to leave me a quick hello below! See all the catalogue products & specials here
The 5th of the 36 Cut Files for Stitching is a Map! Design Team Member Jackie Ashton created this perfect page! She says, "For my project I used the new Blooming Wild collection. I cut the Map from white cardstock and chose thread that corresponded with Blooming Wild. Using papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad I added layers behind my photographs. I raised the middle photograph using foam to add additional dimension to the layout. I wanted the stitched map to be the main focus, so I kept the embellishments to a minimum - I added some labels from Paper 13 to the lower edge of my photographs, floral stickers from the Cardstock Stickers, and Mini Flower Puffy Stickers. For the title I used the wonderful Thickers. Thanks so much for stopping by!" SUPPLIES: Patterned papers, die cuts, stickers, Thickers: BLOOMING WILD; enamel dots; white cardstock; Cut file: Map from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Paige Evans Instagram // Facebook // Pinterest ***** Here is another layout made with today's Map from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Camila Donnola! She says, "I decided to really make the Map dimensional and folded the parts so it's lifted from the base of the layout. I used papers from Paige's Go the Scenic Route collection and a mix of journaling spots & cut out papers from other collections. All the details are small so that they don't overshadow the big star: the map! This page is all about the mountains since we live next to some. I used a picture of my daughter by the window, enjoying the view of 'our own mountain'." Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Michele and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Michele's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development! I was 10th in the chain for Round 7 and have created a cool Corn Chip party card using Taco Fiesta stamp set. The card I received highlighted some pretty birds, for sure cut from the recent Saleabration offering. So I replicated the design and swapped the birds for food! Yummy food. Here's the card I CASE'd from Nancy - be sure to see the OG version here Lets take a closer look at this card. I stamped a number of images, coloured them with my Stammpin' Blends and fussy cut them all out. My favourite is the Avocado poking his little face from behind the Its easy to carry this theme to the inside of the car, so I added more yummy treats to the inside too. This colour combination would suit many types of cards. Show me how you've used the combination. Be sure to continue on the hop below! Welcome to Round 2 of Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about ME and everyones CASE thereafter as the chain continued. I encourage you to start here follow along the hop to see the progression of projects through the group. Its so interesting to see the development! For Round 2 I started the chain with Lets take a closer look at this card. This stamp set will retire soon, make sure you grab a copy before its gone gone gone. It's hard to see from the picture but this image has been stamped on vellum in Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends. I also made a 'window frame' with 4 stripes of Highland Heather cardstock. The image of the woman looking out the window makes me feel all peaceful and calm. I carried the 'window' theme to the inside (retired items) Loving the fresh, cool, relaxing colour tones. Be sure to continue on the hop below!
