Three delightful hens, each with a distinct personality, adorn this 11" x 29" table runner. The modern black and white theme with splashes of red and yellow is bright and cheerful, but the quilt would be lovely in any choice of colors. A simple border of 1" squares completes the design. The pattern includes full size templates and instruction for making the appliques quickly with fusible web and a machine zigzag stitch. Eyes are made with 1/4" buttons, and the chicks by the sitting hen are finished with a bit of hand embroidery. The pattern contains four different hens, each of which fits nicely on a 9" block. The choices are fitting for numerous applications. Wall hanging, pillow covers, place mats, and even lap quilts, are among the projects the hens could be used in. Additional photos are found on my blog post: https://klee2strings.blogspot.com/2018/03/the-girls-new-pattern.html Please contact me if you come across any questions or snags while using this pattern. I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.
